On the 1st, at the inauguration of Presidential Committe on Pop Culture Exchange, Park Jinyoung announced the launch of an event themed 'Fanomenon,' "Starting in December 2027, we will host a festival in Korea, and beginning in May 2028, we will tour globaly."
The committee explained that 'Fanomenon' comes from the combination of 'Fan' and 'Phenomenon,' which means the phenomenon caused by fans.
Park Jinyoung said, "Starting in 2027, the festival will be held in Korea every December and starting in May 2028, we will tour the world. We plan to hold an awards ceremony where we select and honor the artists, content, and brands that excited and satisfied fans the most."
He continued, "Every December 10th, the world's arrention turns to Sweden because that's when the Nobel Prizes are announced. I hope passionate fans from all over the world and industry officials will look to Korea in the same way every December."
He added, "We plan to prepare an event that can create synergy not only wth K-pop singers, but also with K-content, K-games, K-animation, movies, and food."
