Starship Ent.'s causes a chaos after their official account reposted a deepfake post of their artist (+Apology)

Is Starship crazy? What are they doing? Reposting a photo made with AI deepfake on their official account? What does that mean? Is their head full of shit? Is this something a human would do?

Starship Ent.'s official Weibo account caused a stir by a picture they reposted.

Not only is the photo itself a deepfake and a form of sexual harassment,

it's also because reposting something on Weibo is unlike accidentally liking something on Instagram or retweeting something on Twitter. That's why fans are even more furious.

Explanation of why it's not a mistake:

Even if you accidentally hit the repost button, it won't go through unless you press send.
The buttons are on opposite sides. So, calling it a mistake is very suspiciousㅋㅋ

++) Fans are questioning the apology statement because the report button is in a completely different location.

Hello, this is Starship Entertainment.

We would like to inform you about a post that was reposted on Starship Ent.'s Weibo account today.

This incident occurred during a process where one of our staff members was attempting to report a malicious post, and the post has since been deleted.

We sincerely apologize to the artists and fans who may have been offended by this post.

We will pay closer attention to account management to make sure that such an error does not occur again.

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Once again, we apologize.

-Is it right for the company to repost a deepfake pictures of their own artist, Starship-ah? Are you out of your mind?

-A legendary company that reposts deepfake pictures of their own artist on their official account.

-What a crazy, insane company;;; The company's official account is reposting deepfake pictures of their own artist. Does that even make sense?

-That's very Jeon Jaejun of themㅜ

-Fire the person in charge. They're f*cking insane.

-What's the point of announcing legal action when their own staff is reposting deepfake pictures of their own artist?

-How does reposting on Weibo work that it can't be a mistake? Either way, this is unacceptable.

-I looked it up and I think Starship is being too mean to Ahn Yujin... They need to sue the staff who reposted those pictures.

-Are they crazy???

-The way people are saying 'That's very Jeon Jaejun of them' is so funnyㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-Is the deepfake picture something explicit? Or is it just an AI-generated picture?

-The staff who did that needs to be fired. How can anyone feel safe working with someone like that?

-This is insane... Shouldn't Starship sue the staff in charge of their Weibo account at this point?

-This makes me so angry.

-Is their account not hacked...?
