Red Velvet's Wendy revealed how she ended up performing a congratulatory song at a fan's wedding.

On the 25th, singers Kim Jongseo, Kang Kyunsung, Lim Junghee, Wendy, and Kim Jaehwan appeared as guests on JTBC's 'Knowing Bros.'

In this episode, Wendy revealed that she made a surprise appearance and performed a congratulatory song at the wedding of a fan who had supported her since her debut.

Wendy said, "The bride gave me a wedding invitation during a fan signing event, but there was no contact information written on it. I needed a way to contact her to actually go."

She continued, "My company and I searched through social media accounts and contact lists. We finally found the groom's contact information. I reached out and asked, 'Would it be alright if I performed a congratulatory song?'"

Wendy added, "I went to the wedding venue and performed a surprise song. The bride's eyes welled up, but she held her tears back. I almost cried too, but I managed to hold back."

The fan in question is known to have supported Wendy since Red Velvet's debut in 2014.

In the video of the performance, Wendy mentioned, "She is a fan I first met when I debuted on August 1, 2014. I still remember clearly she was a high school senior at the time and she would come to many of my schedules with candy and vitamins."

It has been confirmed that she will make a special appearance in 'The Miracles of the Namiya General Store.' An official told TenAsia, "Since the series is structured in an omnibus format, details such as which segment Jung Chaeyeon will appear and which actors she will work with will be revealed sequentially through the official broadcast."

'The Miracles of the Namiya General Store' is based on the novel by Japanese author Keigo Higashino. It tells the story of three thieves who hide in a mysterious general store that connects the past and present. As they respond to letters seeking advice, they face the secrets of miraculous connections tied to their own lives. The original novel was hugely popular, ranking as the No. 1 best-selling Japanese novel in Korea for 10 years, from 2007 to 2016. The Korean drama adaptation has already drawn attention following casting news of Lee Chaemin, Moon Sangmin, Kim Hyeyoon, Yeom Jungah, Ryu Seungryong, Kang Yooseok, and Go Ahsung.

Meanwhile, Jung Chaeyeon debuted in 2015 with the group DIA and gained major popularity after re-debuting as a member of IOI through Mnet's 'Produce 101' in 2016. She later signed with BH Entertainment and has focused on her acting career.

Jung Chaeyeon as expanded her filmography through various works such as 'The Golden Spoon,' 'Family by Choice,' and 'Beyond the Bar.' This year, she will also return to idol activities alongside acting, as IOI has confirmed a reunion to celebrate their 10th debut anniversary. Wanna One's Kim Jaehwan: "My high notes opened up after going on 'Produce 101 Season 2'"

Wanna One's Kim Jaehwan revealed that his vocal range increased through practice.

On the episode of JTBC's 'Knowing Bros' that aired on the 25th, Kim Jongseo, Kang Kyunsung, Lim Jeonghee, Wendy, and Kim Jaehwan transferred to the school for a high-note singers special.

In this episode, when asked whether vocal range can be raised through practice, Kim Jaehwan said, "When I first started singing, my range was around G4 or F#4. It increased while I was on 'Produce 101 Season 2.' Now, I can go up to C5 or even D5."

Kim Jongseo added, "You can raise it to a certain extent. You have to rely less on your vocal cords and pull the sound out with your breath. If you practice that, it improves." Wendy also shared, "I'm still practicing," and noted that it can be developed through training, saying, "This is also a muscle."
