Song Yoojung became a star in the sky on January 23, 2021. She was 26 years old. The news of her death was reported 2 days later. The sudden loss brought deep shock and sadness to many, including those in the entertainment industry.

A close acquaintance of the actress said at the time, "It was so heartbreaking. I don't know exactly what worries she had, but she was deeply concerned of not being able to truly shine despite debuting in the entertainment industry at an early age. She had also spoken about financial difficulties."

Born in 1994, Song Yoojung made her debut in the entertainment industry after being selected as a model for a cosmetics brand. She began her acting career in 2013 through MBC's 'Golden Rainbow,' and steadily built her filmography by starring in 'Make Your Wish,' 'School 2017,' and 'Dear My Name,' and more.

She also became known to the public through appearances in numerous music videos, including NEEV's 'How Do I,' Standing Egg's 'Friend to Lover,' and iKON's 'Goodbye Road.'

Her sudden passing was felt even more painfully as she had signed an exclusive contract with Sublime Artist Agency in 2019 and was preparing for full-scale activities. At the time, her agency stated, "Song Yoojung was a friend who always brought happiness with a bright smile. She was an actress who acted with more passion than anyone else. Please join us in praying for her so she may rest peacefully in a warm place."

The final post she left on her social media also touched many hearts. It showed her crouching with a bright smile, along with the short caption 'Click,' along with natural, daily photos she had posted the day before. Affectionate traces of hers remain, such as her replying "I miss you too" to a friend's comment saying "I miss you," and saying "Thank you" to comments praising her beauty.

To this day, her social media continues to receive messages from fans all over the world, such as, "Rest in peace," "I love you," "I hope you're at peace there," and "I hope you achieve everything you wished for."

Song Yoojung is remembered for her brief, but sincere performances. She was laid to rest at Seoul Memorial Park. Even as time passes, her name remains in the hearts of many.

Park Yoochun draws a line following Hwang Hana's arrest ... "Please believe only what I say"

SOURCE: 박유천, 황하나 구속에 선 그었다…"내가 말한 것만 믿어달라"

Park Yoochun has spoken out regarding the rumors that have recently surfaced.

On the 22nd, Park Yoochun posted a message in Japanese on his social media, saying, "There are so many rumors about things I have never even thought about or said." He continued, "It was shocking to hear these stories for the first time today. I ask that you please believe only what I have personally said."

This post drew attention as it was uploaded following news that his former fiancée, Hwang Hana, was arrested on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act once again. Rumors have said that certain celebrities' names were mentioned during Hwang Hana's testimony, leading to speculations.

In 2019, Park Yoochun was indicted on charges of using drugs together with Hwang Hana and was sentenced to 10 months in prison, suspended for 2 years. At the time, he held a press conference asserting his innocence, stating, "If I really did use drugs, I will retire from the entertainment industry." However, his charges were confirmed after he tested positive in a National Forensic Service examination.

Although he had announced his retirement, he later reversed this decision and continued activities overseas. He held fan meetings and performances in Japan and Thailand. However, his activities in South Korea have effectively been halted due to dispute over exclusive contracts and controversies involving large-scale, habitual tax delinquencies.

Recently, it was reported that his damages lawsuit with a former agency had concluded in settlement. However, Park Yoochun has faced criticism for not providing separate explanations regarding the various suspicions and speculations surrounding him until now.

The management company operated by Cha Eunwoo's mother, Ms. Choi, actually exists. However, its registered address was in Gimpo, not Ganghwa.

Previously, Cha Euwnoo's side stated, "Cha Eunwoo's mother established a company to directly manage business operations. It's a formally registered company, not a paper company."

On the 23rd, an inspection showed that the company established by Cha Eunwoo's mother was registered on June 15, 2022. However, the address was not in Ganghwa or Gangnam, Seoul, but in Gimpo. It's listed as a building with 7 floors above ground and 2 floors underground located in Tongjin-eup, Gimpo, Gyeonggi Province.

The address that was located in Gimpo showed a company under different name from the eel restaurant mentioned in online communities. Although the address may have been changed after initially being registered in Gimpo, it has not been updated. If they did change the address, it should be updated. However, no such change was recorded.

Regarding the eel restaurant in Ganghwa and the management business in Gimpo, Cha Eunwoo's agency, Fantagio, stated that they are 'unable to perform.'

'Enlisting to escape?' Cha Eunwoo faces allegations of enlisting as an escape amid the tax evasion allegations

As Cha Eunwoo becomes embroiled in allegations of tax evasion totaling over 20 billion KRW, the public is suspicious on the timing of his military enlistment.

According to the National Tax Service on the 22nd, Cha Eunwoo was notified of additional tax assessments exceeding 20 billion KRW on charges of evading income tax and other taxes through a one-person agency established by his mother. This is reported to be the highest amount of tax evasion ever recorded for a celebrity.

The investigation revealed that Cha Eunwoo allegedly signed a management service contract with the company established by his mother to apply relatively low corporate tax rates instead of high individual income tax rates. The National Tax Service determined that Cha Eunwoo's side used a 'scheme' to distribute income by setting up a paper company to avoid income tax rates up to 45%.

Along with this, the timing of Cha Eunwoo's military enlistment last July has also come under fire. Edaily reported, "It is understood that the National Tax Service waited until Cha Eunwoo's enlistment was finalized, as requested by his representatives, before sending the tax audit result notice containing these details." As a result, netizens are now questioning whether he enlisted in the military service to dodge this controversy.

As the controversy spread, his agency, Fantagio stated, "The main issue in this matter is whether the company established by Cha Eunwoo's mother is legally required to pay these taxes. Nothing is official or finished yet. We plan to actively clarify the issues regarding legal interpretation and application through lawful procedures."

'20 billion KRW tax evasion allegation' Cha Eunwoo begins to be cut off by advertisers ... Beauty brand sets content on private

According to OSEN’s investigation on the 22nd, the skincare brand Abib has switched videos featuring Cha Eunwoo that were publicly available on its YouTube channel and other platforms to private. The videos currently can't be played, displaying messages such as 'Unable to play this video' and 'This video is private.'

Furthermore, Abib also deleted posts on X that had previously teased Cha Eunwoo as their ambassador. However, ambassador introduction photos on the official website have not yet been removed. While the reason for deleting the videos and photos has not been disclosed, the fact that this occurred immediately after the tax evasion allegations surfaced is seen as significant.

Abib previously announced last year that they had selected Cha Eunwoo as their new ambassador. Abib explained, "Cha Eun woo is widely loved for his unique image and sophisticated charm, which aligns with the brand values Abib pursues." A brand representative stated, "We decided to work with him as a global ambassador because we judged that his transparent and clean image best expresses the brand's philosophy of 'perfection achieved by emptying to fill.'"
