SHINee is the only group missing from SM's 30th-anniversary album among the other existing contracted artists

 The 30th-anniversary album includes a total of 17 songs, including SM's new group song that is also the title track, 'Thank You,' as well as remakes of SM Ent.'s legendary hit songs reinterpreted by senior and junior artists to fit each group's individuality and music style.

Kangta will remake S.E.S.'s 'Just A Feeling', BoA will remake SHINee Jonghyun's 'End of A Day', TVXQ will remake Red Velvet's 'Psycho', Super Junior will remake Shinhwa's 'I Pray 4 U', SNSD will remake The Grace's 'My Everything', EXO will remake H.O.T.'s 'Git It Up!', Red Velvet will remake SNSD's 'Run Devil Run', NCT 127 will remake Hyun Jinyoung's 'You In Vague Memory', NCT DREAM will remake EXO's 'Love Me Right', WayV will remake SHINee's 'Juliette', Aespa will remake f(x)'s 'Rum Pum Pum Pum', RIIZE will remake TVXQ's 'Hug', NCT WISH will remake Super Junior's 'Miracle', and Naevis will remake BoA's 'Game'. Fans are expected to be able to enjoy SM's accumulated music heritage in a new way.

In addition, SM Ent.'s sub-labels, dance music label ScreaM Records and the classic & jazz label SM Classics, also participated in this album by reworking SHINee's 'View' and BoA's 'My Name.' This high-quality album is expected to allows fans to enjoy SM Ent.'s wide musical spectrum at once.

Even the sub-label classic dance music AI is included, but only SHINee is missing. This leads some people to speculate if this is because SHINee didn't participate in SMTOWN Concert. However, SNSD didn't attend and yet they're still included in the album.

I won't write the reason because I think everyone already knows.

Taemin reveals his reason for not attending SMTOWN Cocnert ... "Sorry for not being able to show SHINee's performance as a full group ... Discussions between companies ongoing"


SHINee's Taemin, who recently left SM Entertainment and joined Big Planet Made Entertainment, shared the reason behind his absence from SM Entertainment's 30th-anniversary concert.

On the 13th, Taemin shared on the fan communication platform Bubble, "I wanted to carefully share this in case there are fans who are worried about SHINee. I'm sorry I couldn't show up as a part of SHINee at SMTOWN Concert. I wanted to wrap up the discussions with the company quickly so I could show you SHINee again, but it's taking some time."

He continued, "The discussions are going just fine and everything will be settled soon. I, along with the other members, want to protect SHINee and we still want to write more stories together. I hope those who are worried about whether I don't want to continue to be with SHINee again or if they can see SHINee in the future will stop worrying. Okay?"

Taemin then explained his absence from SMTOWN Concert, saying, "I hope that my words don't hurt anyone. Once again, all the members love SHINee and have the same feelings. We are currently carefully preparing and getting ready to start SHINee well, let's meet soon with a smile!'"

Previously on January 11th and 12th, 'SMTOWN LIVE 2025 [THE CULTURE, THE FUTURE]' was held at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul. This concert was held to commemorate the 30th anniversary of SM Entertainment, and various artists performed. Among them, only Key and Minho from SHINee appeared on stage. Meanwhile, Onew participated in other SM's 30th-anniversary related content.

Although the specific reason for the absence of the members who transferred to a different agency is not known, various speculations have arisen. In response to these speculations, Taemin explained that he was unable to attend the SM 30th anniversary concert due to issues related to the company.

Taemin signed an exclusive contract with Big Planet Made Entertainment in April last year after leaving SM Ent.

Choi Minhwan speaks up ... "The reason for divorce = Yulhee's frequent runaways and excessive napping. She forgave me for visiting adult entertainment establishment"

On the 13th, Dispatch published an interview with Choi Minhwan, revisiting his divorce from Yulhee. According to the report, Choi Minhwan revealed various conflicts during their marriage, stating that the ultimate reason for their divorce was Yulhee's frequent runaways from home and irregular sleep patterns.

During the interview, Choi Minhwan shared, 'We've been together for five years. During that time, Yulhee ran away from home more than 20 times due to arguments. Sometimes it was for a day or two, and other times it was for a week or ten days." This contradicts Yulhee's claim that Choi Minhwan's visits to adult entertainment establishments were the cause of their divorce.

Choi Minhwan also emphasized that he absolutely cannot accept Yulhee's demands for 100 million KRW in alimony, 1 billion KRW in asset division, and child custody along with child support until the children reach adulthood. Choi Minhwan asserted that the primary reason for the divorce was Yulhee and even shared their KakaoTalk messages as evidence.

According to Choi Minhwan, Yulhee left the house on August 1, 2021. Choi Minhwan had expressed frustration with Yulhee, saying, "You sleep too much," to which she responded, "Who do you think made my life this miserable?" Yulhee also reportedly cursed in front of Choi Minhwan's mother, leading Choi Minhwan to call Yulhee's mother. Following this, Yulhee took their eldest child and stayed at her parents' house for 10 days.

When asked why his wife’s excessive napping was an issue, Choi Minhwan asked, "Wouldn’t it be a problem if someone sleeps for 18 to 20 hours a day?" However, even his manager didn’t side with him. On August 1, Choi Minhwan had texted his manager, saying, "Yulhee sleeps too much," but the manager responded, "Maybe childcare is really hard for her. Maybe get her some supplements or something. How can you fight her in this situation? Bring her back quickly." When Choi Minhwan expressed a desire for divorce, the manager tried to dissuade him, saying, "You can’t divorce. Just endure it for a bit more."

Choi Minhwan clarified, "It wasn't a prostitution venue. It was a karaoke room where I held Yulhee's birthday party. A Hyung I know worked there, but he told me there were no rooms available, so I asked about other places. It's true that I asked about a 'short room' because there were no rooms available. However, I never engaged in prostitution. I understand why Yulhee might have misunderstood. I admitted my fault, apologized, and reflected on my actions."
