DAY6 Young K proves he's a big eater: "8 servings of meat is OK, 7 bagels is possible"

DAY6's Young K showed off his presence on 'Talk Pa One 25 O'Clock,' sharing stories about his extraordinary appetite and memories of New York during his trainee days.

On the episode of 'Talk Pa One 25 O'Clock' that aired on the 23rd, Young K appeared as a guest and talked about his New York travel experiences and eating habits.

Known as one of the biggest eaters in the entertainment industry, when asked if he could eat a 2kg tomahawk steak by himself, he replied, "These days I eat less, but it would've been possible at my peak." Regarding his maximum meat intake, he added, "I can eat up to 8 servings of meat. And I'm not talking about thin-sliced pork belly," drawing laughter.

When Lee Chanwon asked, "Where does all that food go?" he answered, "I have the type of body that gain weight easily when I eat, so I have to empty it out every now and then. I manage my weight by not eating at times."

As a fan of the show, Young K recommended New York while recalling his trainee days, saying, "New York is a place full of memories. Back then, the top trainees were given opportunities to train overseas."

Having visited New York twice as a 'scholarship' trainee under JYP Entertainment, he added, "I remember visiting all three of the most famous pizza places back then."

When the New York correspondent introduced a famous local bagel spot, Young K said, "I'm relatively weaker when it comes to break, but I think I could still eat up to seven," surprising everyone once again.

Young K carried out his first penalty since joining 'Amazing Saturday.'

On the episode of tvN's 'Amazing Saturday' that aired on the 21s, DAY6's Young K drew admiration with his first penalty.

The episode featured a 'Dance Club Gathering' special with themed costumes. Shin Dongyup appeared performing sphinx dance, while P.O became a casting manager, saying, "I came to the arts high school to cast dance club members."

Hanhae became part of a hip-hop club 'Hip Dong,' while Moon Seyoon jokingly called himself 'Hip-ttung.' Taeyeon made everyone laugh with a hip dance, saying, "This is why my hips won't stop," and Kim Donghyun added to the humor by reacting, "I've never heard that before."

Young K wore the bald disguise as a penalty for losing a previous match against P.O. It was his first penalty since becoming a regular cast, and P.O burst into laughter, looking highly satisfied with Young K's bald look.

Boom praised him, saying, "It suits you well. You have a really beautiful head shape. You look good even without a hat," and asked, "How does it feel?" Young K replied, "It feels refreshing. My bangs used to bother me, so it's nice not having them."

When Boom said, "Now you're truly part of the 'Amazing Saturday' family," and asked if he would make another bet, Young K responded with determination, "Just watch, I won't lose again," showing his competitiveness.
