On 'I Live Alone,' IU shared the moment she was most touched by her friends was when they came to her grandfather's funeral.

On the episode of MBC's 'I Live Alone' that aired on the 24th, Yoo Subin revealed his meeting with IU and Lee Yeon, whom he became close with through the drama 'Perfect Crown.'

Yoo Subin introduced IU and Lee Yeon by saying, "Even though they are younger than me, we're essentially like friends."

The three, who meet regularly, began playfully bickering as soon as they got togehter. Showing the chemistry of real-life best friends, they enjoyed a walk among the cherry blossoms along the Han River and toook pictures. Yoo Subin even included a workout session for IU, who is a homebody.

He also took IU and Lee Yeon to one of his favorite restaurants, personally serving them food and even explaining how to eat it.

IU explained why Yoo Subin and Lee Yeon hold a special place in her heart, saying, "Not too long ago, they came to my grandfather's funeral. They were almost the only friends of mine who came."

She added, "I was really touched that you guys came right away," expressing her appreciation and how meaningful their gesture was.

IU shares her thoughts after 4 years of a public relationship with Lee Jongsuk: "If you truly love someone, you don't necessarily talk about it"

Singer and actress IU spoke about her views on relationship.

On the 24th, a video titled '[Mini Palette] 21st Century Project ‘WanSeong’ 👑 (With Team Perfect Crown) Ep.2' was posted on IU's official Youtube channel. The episode featured Byun Wooseok, Yoo Subin, and Lee Yeon as guests.

In the video, Byun Wooseok recalled a scene that was completed through ad-libs, saying, "There was a scene that I filmed with Subin. It just wasn't working out."

Yoo Subin explained, "It's a scene from the second episode. We filmed it after some time had passed since the start of the production. We had become closer and our affections towards each other had grown, so we felt more pressure to do well." Byun Wooseok added, "I think it's also because we've come to love each other more."

Hearing this, Lee Yeon joked, "Saying you've 'come to love' means the love was small at first," and IU responded, "Exactly. If you truly love someone, you don't necessarily keep talking about it like that. Love is just something that exists at the bottom of your heart."

After a pause, Byun Wooseok said, "Lately, I've been thinking that expressing it is really good. People should express themselves more." When Yoo Subin said, "Hyung, I love you," Byun Wooseok replied, "I love you too," and emphasized, "This is exactly why you have to express that you love someone."

Meanwhile, IU has been in a public relationship with actor Lee Jongsuk for four years since 2022. The two reportedly became close back in 2012 through SBS' 'Inkigayo.'

At the time of the announcement, Lee Jongsuk expressed his feelings via his fan cafe, calling it 'the fruit of a long unrequited love,' while IU said, "I am developing good feelings while relying on someone who has been a long-time colleague of mine."

Although there have been several breakup rumors, they all were proven to be untrue.
