Lai Kuanlin gets a tattoo of Wanna One's debut date: "I still have lingering feelings for Korea"

Wanna One's former member Lai Kuanlin shared an update on his life after retiring from the entertainment industry.

In the Mnet's 'Wanna One Go: Back to Base' released on the 5th, Ha Sungwoon visited Beijing, China, to reunite with Lai Kuanlin.

That day, Lai Kuanlin came out to meet Ha Sungwoon, and the two, meeting for the first time in seven years, shared a warm hug to celebrate their reunion. Afterward, they moved to a restaurant to catch up.

Lai Kuanlin revealed that he is currently working at a Chinese film production company that produces short films. He said, "Being a salaried worker makes me feel secure." He added, "I really like who I am now, moving forward slowly through my own efforts, rather than that feeling of becoming a singer too quickly," expressing his satisfaction.

Surprised by Lai Kuanlin's fluent Korean, Ha Sungwoon asked, "Why is your Korean still so good?" to which Lai Kuanlin replied, "It's because I still have lingering feelings for Korea." He then revealed a tattoo of Wanna One's debut date, August 7th, saying, "If anyone asked me to name a date worth to celebrate, I'd say August 7th," touching viewers.

Meanwhile, Lai Kuanlin debuted in 2017 as a member of Wanna One through Mnet's audition program 'Produce 101 Season 2.' After winning a legal dispute over his exclusive contract with Cube Entertainment in 2021, he continued his entertainment activities in China before changing his career path to become a director.

BLACKPINK's Lisa has shared behind-the-scenes details from her striking appearance at the Met Gala.

On the 6th, Lisa posted several photos on her account with the caption, "What a magical evening at the MET. It was an honor to be a part of this year's host committee. Thank you for having me."

Lisa attended the 2026 Met Gala held on the 4th (local time) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. She made history as the first K-Pop artist to be named to the Met Gala's host committee.

Lisa wore a custom dress made by Robert Wun, which took over a staggering 2,960 hours (about 120 days) of handwork and was entirely embroidered with 66,960 white Swarovski crystals. The look also featured a 3D-printed piece modeled after Lisa's actual arms, earning praise as one of the most faithful interpretations of this year's theme 'Costume Art,' and received the highest scores for originality.

Additionally, Lisa wore a 50-carat oval sapphire necklace from Bulgari, earning her the nickname of a 'walking work of art' with an outfit worths billions of KRW.

Shaman Noh Seulbi breaks down after her daughter defends her against hate comments

Shaman Noh Seulbi shared her feelings while revealing a Youtube comment left by her daughter.

On the 5th, Noh Seulbi posted on her Instagram with the caption, "I saw a comment my daughter wrote a week ago," along with a photo.

The photo showed a screenshot of a comment on a Youtube clip from 'Teenage Parents 3,' which she previously appeared on. The comment included messages like, "Please don't swear at my mom," "My mom is the best," and "My mom is doing great," which touched many viewers as they appeared to be written by her daughter.

In response, Noh Seulbi said, "My daughter always loves and protects me even though I'm not perfect," and added, "I feel so sorry and sad that she felt the need to write such somments." She continued, "Please refrain from leaving malicious comments. If you want to criticize me, please do so via direct message to me. I will accept it all and improve," and pleaded, "If you leave them on Youtube, my daughter reads them all. That hurts so much."

Meanwhile, Noh Seulbi gained recognition through 'Battle of Fates' and previously shared her story of becoming a mother at the age of 19 on MBN's 'Teenage Parents 3' in 2023.

According to the broadcast at the time, Noh Seulbi experienced school violence and domestic abuse during her school years, and later she met a man through an online fortune-telling consultation. He approached her, saying, "We are fated to be a married couple," which led her to leave home and start living with him. However, she later suffered abuse from him and became pregnant at 19 because he refused to use contraception. After giving birth, their relationship collapsed and she even got contacted by the woman he was having an affair with.

Eventually, Noh Seulbi left with her daughter, received a spiritual calling, and became a shaman. She is currently raising her daughter alone while working as a shaman.
