On this day, Hyoyeon mentioned Tiffany and Byun Yohan's marriage. She said, "I was really surprised. It is reported that the issue of unpaid fees for staff played a decisive role behind Lee Seunggi's decision to terminate the contract.

Lee Seunggi's side stated, "Despite various issues surrounding the agency and some unpaid settlements, we tried to maintain a relationship of trust. SM Entertainment and Mark will conclude their exclusive contract on the 8th, 10 years since his debut in 2016. Mark has been the most active member of the group, participating in various units such as NCT U, NCT 127, NCT Dream, and SuperM.
