'Moon Heejun's daughter' Jamjam shows growth spurt in her school uniform ... Looks just like her mom, Soyul

On the 9th, Soyul shared an update on her eldest daughter, Heeyul, saying, "Our Jam-ie's Christmas concert. This time was also so touching and beautiful. She performed so well and looked so pretty. I'm so proud of you. I love you."

Heeyul drew attention for her facial features that closely resemble her mother. Dressed in school uniform, she appeared much more mature. Especially at her school performance, she radiated an 'idol-like' vibe, inheriting both her mother and father's charm. She danced with relaxed, confident movements and didn't seem nervous at all in front of the audience.

Heeyul previously received a lot of love while appearing on KBS2's 'The Return of Superman' with Moon Heejun. She even earned the nickname 'Jamjam' for her charming personality. Now that she has grown into an elementary school student, her appearance makes fans realize how much time has passed.

Netizens reacted enthusiastically, saying, "She totally has the look of an idol," "She was cute as a baby, she's still lovely as usual," "She looked exactly like Moon Heejun when she was a baby, but now that she's older, she looks exactly like her mom," and "Watching her dance, you really can't hide those genes."

Meanwhile, Moon Heejun married Soyul, a former member of the group Crayon Pop, in 2017. They have one son and one daughter.

"Never follow them" - Women in their 20s 'lured' near Gangnam Station ... The reality behind 'free skin care'

Advice warning people to absolutely ignore and not respond to offers for free skin-care treatment trials near Gangnam Station in Seoul is gaining attention online.

Recently, a viral post on social media advised women in their early 20s, especially those who just became adults or recently moved to Seoul, stating, "If someone near Gangnam Station asks if you want to try free skincare treatments, ignore them no matter what and just keep walking." A user on X noted, "They'll say things like 'Only for students' or 'Special offer for our grand opening,' but in the end they'll force you to pay," adding, "They drag you into a consultation room in an instant, making it very easy for newly adults to become victims."

Other netizens shared their experiences, saying, "I got caught too. I usually ignore strangers on the street, but since it was a middle-aged woman, I let my guard down without realizing it. Once I responded, she wouldn't let go of me," "This has been going on for a long time, but it feels like they're dragging people more aggressively these days," and "I was walking through the Gangnam underground shopping mall when someone grabbed my arm. Before I knew it, I was sitting in a dermatology clinic consultation room. I got away without paying because I kept on saying 'I have no money' and 'I'll come back with my mom tomorrow.' In the end, they resorted to personal attacks and even insulted my appearance."

In most cases, these aggressive sales tactics involve middle-aged women approaching women who look to be in their early 20s near Gangnam Station, offering things like 'coupons for free skincare.' If the target doesn't refuse firmly, they will be dragged to a dermatology clinic. Once there, the staff will encourage them to pay extra to receive 'better' treatments or give them the free treatment first before pressuring them into pre-paying millions of KRW for skincare packages.

The main target is usually women in their early 20s. They usually lower the target's guard by saying, "My daughter is a college student, too," or "Can I ask for directions?" They reportedly ask the age of those who appear to be not able to purchase, such as those in their late teens, and refuse to give them coupons by saying "Students are not allowed."

Those who were targeted by this sales tactics said, "They only approach specific groups like women in their 20s or brides-to-be. The atmosphere makes it impossible not to pay, especially if you have a timid personality. Since this happens inside private aesthetic clinics, it seems hard to crack down on," and "I don't usually respond to this thing. I only stopped because they asked for directions. Using someone's kindness to drag them into clinics is morally wrong."

However, experts state that it is difficult to classify such acts as criminal coercion unless there is physical violence or explicit threats. A police official said, "For coercion to be recognized, there must be violence or threats, which is hard to prove. For intimidation to be recognized, it must go beyond a pressuring atmosphere and there must be a notice of harm serious enough to induce actual fear." Refunds, however, are possible. Skin care treatments can be canceled at any time during the contract period by paying a penalty. If products were purchased, they must remain unopened. Products bought through door-to-door sales can be canceled within 14 days and online purchases within 7 days.

Chaos rises, even 300,000 KRW won't get you one ... Jang Wonyoung's one bite sparks a 'sold-out' frenzy

SOURCE: 30만원 줘도 못사서 난리…장원영 한 입에 '품절 대란'

As the craze for 'Dubai Chewy Cookie' spreads, bakery and cafe owners are rushing to sell them, causing the price of the key ingredient, pistachios, to skyrocket.

According to industry sources on the 12th, one major retail chain raised pistachio prices by 20% this year. They explained that this was caused by the rising cost of raw material and the high KRW-USD exchange rate (weakening of the KRW). The consumer price for 400g of shelled pistachios rose from about 18,000 KRW in 2024 to 20,000 KRW last year, and reached 24,000 KRW this year. The international market price for American pistachio kernels is currently around $12 per pound, about 1.5 times higher than a year ago (around $8).

However, even with the price surge, pistachios are continuously selling out. This appears to be because more people are making their own pistachio spread at home due to the recent Dubai chewy cookie trend.

Dubai chewy cookie is a dessert created in South Korea, inspired by the Dubai chocolate trend that went viral in 2024. It is made by mixing pistachio spread with kataifi for the filling, then wrapping it in a marshmallow dough mixed by cocoa powder. The texture is soft and chewy on the outside, while the inside is savory and crispy.

Dubai chewy cookie gained attention after IVE's member Jang Wonyoung posted about it on her social media in September last year. The recipe, originally developed by a small business owner, spread rapidly afterwards. Although many cafes and dessert shops sell it now, it has become so popular that it is hard to buy unless you line up at opening time.

The number of pickup orders for Dubai chewy cookie on Baemin surged by 321% in the 1st week of this month compared to a month ago. Baemin had revamped its app last October to allow users to find nearby pickup options based on their current location. Searches for Dubai chewy cookie on Baemin in December increased 25 times more compared to 2 months prior.

As a result, more stores implement purchase limits. While prices vary widely, ranging from 5,000 KRW to over 10,000 KRW per piece the size of a glutinous rice cake, the popularity remains strong. Some restaurants even sell it as a 'bait item,' while mainly serving cold noodles, sundae, or chicken feet. Chef Jung Hoyoung also shared on social media that even a lounge operated by a furniture store in Incheon is selling them.

A giant Dubai chewy cookie priced at over 300,000 KRW has also become a hot topic. A dessert shop from Jeju Island recently introduced a massive version at a pop-up store in a department store in Gangnam, Seoul. It is equivalent to 108 regular pieces. It is so large that it must be held with both hands.

According to the store, the item is normally worth about 600,000 KRW at list price, but was sold for 300,000 KRW as a special event at the pop-up. Despite being known as the largest and mos expensive Dubai chewy cake released so far, it is reportedly sold out and nearly impossible to buy.

2. [+160][-6] You guys saw what happened with Tanghulu, right???ㅋㅋㅋ

3. [+150][-7] It doesn't even taste good, guys ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Stop with the nonsenseㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

4. [+16][-1] People curse at Paris Baguette and Kyochon Chicken for being expensive, yet they wait in line before the store even opens for a piece of junk like that. Y'all are pigsㅋㅋ

5. [+16][-2] Just eat whatever. Stop making such a fuss.

Danielle to hold first activity today since her 'removal from NewJeans' ... 'SNS Live Broadcast'

On the 12th, Danielle's legal representative, Hwawoo Law Group, announced that she will be holding a 'Live Message' session at 7 PM today to meet fans directly through her personal social media channels.

This 'Live Message' is meant to be a space for Danielle to personally share updates and her sincere feelings to fans who have stayed by her side for a long time. It will be broadcast live through her personal Youtube channel and Instagram.

Through this session, Danielle plans to express deep gratitude to both domestic and international fans who have continuously shown her support and love, as well to share updates on her current situation, and check in on how her fans are doing.

Danielle's representatives stated, "We would like to clarify that this live broadcast is purely for communication with fans and is not related to the ongoing lawsuit."

Meanwhile, ADOR announced the termination of Danielle's exclusive contract last month. ADOR stated, "In Danielle's case, we have determined that it would be difficult for her to continue as a member of NewJeans and an artist under ADOR. Therefore, we notified her today of the termination of her exclusive contract. Furthermore, we plan to hold one member of Danielle's family and former CEO Min Heejin legally responsible for causing this dispute and also for NewJeans' departure and delayed return."

Regarding the lawsuit, ADOR stated, "We plan to file a lawsuit for penalty for breach of contract and damages against Danielle today. While it is difficult to provide specific details as the case is still in progress, we notified her of the termination because there were actions that violated the exclusive contract, such as signing contracts that conflict with this exclusive agreement, engaging in independent entertainment activities, and damaging the reputation and credibility of the company and NewJeans. We have demanded these to be corrected, but no correction was made within the given period. Therefore, we notified her of the termination."

1. [+231][-139] From the start, in this fight between Min Heejin and HYBE, it's only the young girls who get hurt. What's all this talk about settlements? There's revenue, so of course they should be paid. This is not dereliction of duty. Even in normal office life, people quit when there's conflict. It's just a matter of perspective. This is not the Joseon Dynasty where you can treat people however you want just because the state protects you from invasions. No matter how successful K-pop is, human rights have to come with it.

2. [+180][-108] It's so sad how only the young girls suffer from this fight between adults... What did they do wrong? They've probably had no social experience since they've lived as trainees since they were young.

3. [+176][-106] If she really did something wrong, just make her return what she was paid for the work she did. But 40 billion KRW? If that request is upheld, it would ruin a person's life. This is just too much. K-pop needs to mature.

4. [+139][-61] Honestly, what a waste of talent... I thought it was nice that even older listeners could easily get into their songs among other girl groups.
