It has been confirmed that singer and actor Lee Seunggi has taken steps to terminate his exclusive contract with his agency, Big Planet Made Entertainment.

According to Lee Seunggi's legal representative on the 6th, he notified the agency of the contract termination at the end of March due to violations of the exclusive contract by the company, and maintains that the contract has been legally terminated.

It is reported that the issue of unpaid fees for staff played a decisive role behind Lee Seunggi's decision to terminate the contract.

Lee Seunggi's side stated, "Despite various issues surrounding the agency and some unpaid settlements, we tried to maintain a relationship of trust. However, problems arose in supporting entertainment activities and in paying staff and external vendors." They added, "We inevitably decided to terminate the contract to prevent a situation where the hardworking staff on-site from getting unpaid."

Regarding his future schedule, Lee Seunggi plans to carry out his existing commitments without any disruptions. It is also reported that he expressed his intention to 'continue activities with a sense of responsibility to not disappoint fans and staff on-site.'

Big Planet is a label under One Hundred. Recently, following reports that Taemin, THE BOYZ, VIVIZ, Lee Mujin, and BE'O notified the agency of contract terminations, signs of artist departures are spreading. The agency denied some allegations, stating, "These matters are currently under discussion and adjustments, depending on each artist's contract terms," but the situation appears to be expanding into a broader concerns over the label's credibility.
