Super Junior's Kim Heechul revealed the reason why he has lived without a car for more than a decade.
On the 19th, a video titled 'Hong Jinkyung in stitches because of 20-year idols Shindong and Heechul's legendary revelations' was posted on the Youtube channel 'Study King Genius Hong Jinkyung.'
In the video, Kim Heechul said he had never met Hong Jinkyung in private before, explaining, "I came on the show because I had a good impression of you thanks to Kyuhyun. Kyuhyun is still like a baby to us, so I'm always grateful that you take good care of him."
He continued, "To be even more honest, you suddenly contacted me and asked, 'Are you close with Faker? I'd love for him to appear on Study King.' I wouldn't even say I'm close with Faker. He's a precious connection to me. I still speak to him formally."
Kim Heechul also talked about 'staying true to one's roots,' saying, "People say celebrities should find their 'roots,' but I definitely shouldn't. I had such a bad attitude when I was a trainee," adding humorously, "I used to go to nightclubs and tell the trainer Noona everything about it. Wehn I had to write a reflection, I would write, 'I don't know what I did wrong. I'm writing this because I was told to,'" which made everyone laugh.
Because of that, he said he tries hard not to make mistakes now, saying, "I have never even burped in front of my members," adding, "If I feel uncomfortable with someone, I just wouldn't see them at all."
When asked by Hong Jinkyung about how much he drinks, Heechul replied, "I usually drink a lot. The reason I don't have a car is because I'm afraid I might cause an accident after drinking. Since I couldn't quit alcohol, I just quit driving instead. I haven't owned a car at all for over 10 years."
Regarding Shindong, who is known to have a high alcohol tolerance, Heechul said, "I've never seen him drunk," which surprised everyone. Shindong added, "I think I can drink up to six bottles. I think I've only blacked out once, but that was back when I was on diet, so I got drunk faster than usual."
Meanwhile, Super Junior will hold their world tour encore concert 'SUPER SHOW 10: SJ-CORE in Seoul' from April 3rd to 5th at KSPO Dome in Seoul Olympic Park, marking the finale of their 20th debut anniversary tour.
