On the 14th, Heo Gayoon appeared on the YouTube channel 'Sebasi Lecture' and shared various stories from her life.
In the video, Heo Gayoon began by saying, "I have always loved singing and dancing since I was little. I was so desperate and earnest about becoming a singer."
She continued, "To give you an idea of how desperate I was... There was a time when I had a fight with a student from another school." She then added, "I wonder if I can even call that a fight? Looking back now, I think I was caught in school violence."
Heo Gayoon explained, "It was someone I didn't even know. She said she heard me talking baldly about her. She told me she wanted to fight me. I was scared, so I told her, 'I'm not going to fight you. Just hit me. Hit me anywhere except my face'"
She explained, "I was a trainee at the time. I thought that if my company found out, it would cause a serious problems in achieving my dream. So I just let her yank my hair and hit me. I kept thinking, 'I have to become a singer. I can't let everything fall apart here,' while being beaten with my hair yanked."
She added, "I think she felt a bit awkward because I was just taking the hits without fighting back. In the end, she even took my hand and said, 'You hit me too.' Although I'm talking about it while smiling now, it became a huge trauma for me. I became afraid to even walk around alone and found it hard to trust people," drawing sympathy from the audience.
