People who rewatch the same drama repeatedly are said to have high emotional intelligence

[People who repeatedly watch the same drama are not lazy, they actually have high emotional intelligence.]

If you often rewatch your favorite drama, science suggests you are highly likely to be a person with 'high emotional intelligence.'

According to psychologists, rewatching familiar stories isn’t just because of a habit. It's an unconscious strategy to manage emotions safely. The predictable plot development and familiar characters provide a sense of stability to the brain, relieve stress, and help restore mood.

In other words, even if you’ve rewatched 'Reply 1988,' 'Mr. Sunshine,' or 'Hospital Playlist' countless times, it’s fine. It is the way your brain comforts itself amid the chaos of real life. It acts as a kind of self-therapy that helps emotional recovery.

-Does the genre not matter?

-Only dramas, not books?ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-I just rewatch because I forget the plot, though.

-I’ve watched Coffee Prince and Goblin so many times, I memorize the dialogues.

-Oh, I also rewatch my favorite movies and dramas dozens of times. I think that explanation makes sense. It’s really comfortingㅋㅋㅋ

-Good for you guys. I can never rewatch something I’ve already seenㅠ

-I'm the type to read books and comics or watch dramas and animes 50 times if I like it.

-Wow, I really do rewatch for emotional stabilityㅜ

-I’m super sensitive, so I only watch things I’ve already seen. This is comfortingㅠ

-I only rewatch really good ones once every few years. This makes me wonder how high my emotional intelligence is.

-I really love rewatching things. It's partly because it's comfortable, but also because it's fun to discover new details and emotions each time.

-Sometimes I search for old dramas and rewatch them, and it feels so good every timeㅎㅎ

-I’ve watched 'Reply 1988' at least five times… and I don’t even like watching dramas that much.

-I play Goblin all the time so my family yells at meㅋㅋㅋ

-I think I've rewatched my favorite drama more than 10 times.

'K-pop Demon Hunters' EJAE: "I was a trainee at SM Ent. for 12 years ... I was disappointed in myself"

https://v.daum.net/v/20251022214714197

EJAE started her trainee life at the age of 11. She spent 12 years as a trainee at SM Ent. alongside groups like Super Junior, SNSD, SHINee, and f(x). She recalled, "I really worked hard," and shared that SNSD's Yuri once told her, "You're going to become something. You work so hard, you'll definitely succeed."

However, EJAE ultimately failed to debut. She explained, "I didn't fit SM Ent.'s style. The trend back then was a clean, clear sound. I tried to change my voice to sound clearer, but I wasn't that good at singing at the time. I was too old. I understand. I just missed the timing(to debut)."

After her contract was terminated, EJAE left SM Ent. She confessed, "I was really disappointed in myself." She revealed that it was painful for her to work hard without debuting. She added that she felt most sorry toward her younger self, who spent so much time and effort chasing the dream of becoming a singer.

-12 years... If they weren't going to debut her, they should've let her go sooner for the sake of her future.

-I wonder if it wasn't about her skills, but because of her visuals...? She doesn't have an idol look, she's more like an actress type.

-Even the female SM Rookies didn't debut in the endㅜㅜㅜ

-If she kept failing to make it to the debut lineup, she could've just left. She just chose not to. So many male and female idols went through SM Ent. Why blame it on SM Ent. when she stayed because of her own attachment? Honestly, just looking at her, it's obvious that she's not SM Ent.'s style..

-If she didn't suit the company's style, they should've let her go earlier instead of keeping her as a trainee for so long.

-It's incredibly selfish for SM Ent. to keep her for 12 years without debuting her. If they had let her go quickly, she could've found another company or career path. SM Ent. is so f*cking selfish.

-SM Ent. is a psychopathic company. They kept her for 12 years. She probably couldn't even study properly. She was lucky to make it later, but others just who were part of Rookies or whatever got their faces known and were then just dumped as rookies. That's harmful.

-Whoa... So she trained with SNSD?

-A trainee isn't an employee of the company. Therefore, the company is not responsible for their life. That's their parents' job. If you don't debut, you can still try somewhere else. There are tons of kids who debuted even after leaving big companies. EJAE just realized that idol life wasn't her path, and then found her right one.

-There are countless trainees out there. Not just at SM Ent. She shouldn't be disappointed in herself for working so hard.

-Hul... So she trained through SNSD, f(x), and Red Velvetㅠ

-SM Ent. is really mean... No, all entertainment companies are meanㅠ

-Given that SNSD debuted in 2007 with 91-liner Seohyun and Red Velvet in 2014 with 91-liner Irene, it's unlikely the company kept her for no reason. And I'm sure she didn't stay for no reason either. I think the timing was just unfortunateㅠ They could've at least debut her as solo.

-If there was no potential, they should've let her go earlier so she could join another agency.

-She really doesn't fit the styles of SNSD, f(x), or Red Velvet. Maybe it's because of K-pop Demon Hunters' concept, she kinda gives off Twice's vibesㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Lee Yikyung's exposer says, "I never received money or was threatened" ... Reuploads post after apology

Following the revelation that rumors surrounding Lee Yikyung's private life were fabricated using AI, the exposer, Ms. A, recovered her account and stated, "I never received money or was threatened."

Around midnight on the 23rd, Ms. A posted another message on social media, saying, "Even if my personal informations is on my profile, I hope you don't contact me via email or any other means." She added, "I never received money or was threatened. That's all I'll say. Thank you for understanding."

When a netizen commented, "She can't admit that she received the money," Ms. A firmly replied, "I did not receive any."

Previously on the 20th, Ms. A had posted alleged messages and DMs exchanged with Lee Yikyung on her blog. The content caused shock to many as it contained Lee Yikyung allegedly requesting explicit photos from Ms. A and using vulgar language.

The post quickly spread across online communities. In response, Lee Yikyung's side stated, "We are preparing legal action against the spread of false information and malicious rumors recently posted and circulated on online communities and social media." The agency added, "Given the seriousness of this matter, we plan to pursue every possible legal measures by calculating the scale of damages resulting from the rumors."

They further stated, "Both the creation and distribution of such false content will be subject to legal action. Please be cautious to prevent unnecessary damages."

As the controversy grew, A suddenly posted an apology on the 22nd, saying, "Recently, I posted various photos related to Lee Yikyung. It all started as a joke. I didn't expect it to get so much attention. But as I kept posting and using AI-generated photos, I gradually started to believe it myself."

She added, "I feel guilty because what started as fun gradually seemed to become real. If I need to take responsibility, I will. Please understand that my Korean is clumsy since I'm German."

1. [+764][-66] It's suspicious how Lee Yikyung stays silent amidst all of this.

2. [+682][-21] Why isn't Lee Yikyung's side taking legal action? Why does that woman keep trying to explain herself? Is this really something that can be settled with leniency?

3. [+693][-42] Is that really the case? It just makes me wonder more if they settled or notㅋㅋㅋ

4. [+81][-3] If Lee Yikyung stays silent and does nothing, it's safe to assume that he silenced her with moneyㅋㅋ

5. [+81][-1] The longer the media play drags on, the more suspicious it gets.. Why is his agency so silent when their artist's image is taking a huge hit? I've never seen a case where the alleged perpetrator talks more than the victimㅋㅋㅋ

6. [+79][-4] If I were Lee Yikyung, I wouldn't be this quiet. I'd at least post something on Instagram. I don't know why he's just staying silent behind the agency. Is he hoping it will quietly pass?

7. [+74][-2] If he shows leniency, people will suspect him of silencing the perpetrator with money. He should definitely file a lawsuit.

8. [+63][-3] The conversation's content was so shocking that if it were true, I would never want to see someone like him in the media again. He'd seem totally fake and I'd feel repulsed to see him appear on family-friendly shows.

9. [+62][-1] Lee Yikyung is being way too quiet.

10. [+55][-6] If he forgives her, he's basically confirming that he bribed her with money.

SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu drinks alcohol handed by a fan at SEVENTEEN's concert in Austin

U.S. Austin concert day 1

(Previous situation explained by the people involved)
2 fans bought vodka from the bar inside the concert venue
During the encore, they held up a sign that said, "Wanna party together? Drink with us!" and showed it to Mingyu.
Mingyu only laughed it off at first, but the fans said they actually had alcohol for him.

(In the video)
Mingyu asked what was in the cup, and the fans told him it was vodka.
He then asked a staff to hand it over and drank it on stage.

Both Korean and international fans are now upset, saying things like,

"Why did he carelessly drink something when he didn't know what was inside?" and "Why did those fans even give that to him in the first place?"

-That was carelessㅠ... I hope he doesn't do that again, for his own safety. Who knows what could've been mixed in there...

-Why would he accept and drink that?

-He must be insane. What if there were drugs or poison it it?? He's lucky nothing happened.

-Oh goodness, he needs to be carefulㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ He can't just trust anyone just because they're his fans.

-I know Mingyu did it with good intentions, but that's dangerousㅠㅠ Let's not give or receive things like thatㅠㅠ

-ㅠㅠ Mingyu-ya, please don’t do that again.

-There's a bar inside the concert venue? That's fascinating... Even if a fan gave it to him, he should be carefulㅠ

-Did he know it was alcohol? Then why did he drink it? He's performing. It's still part of his job.

-Honestly, that’s a really dangerous thing to do.

-If he drank it and there were drugs in it, would he still be punished??

-The world’s too scary these days…

-Why are people blaming Mingyu for this...? Yeah, it was dangerous, but is it something to criticize this much?

-What damage did he suffer for people to call him a victim?ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-Was it wrong for him to trust a fanㅠㅠ? Those fans shouldn't have given it to him in the first place.

-Mingyu is still too naive. Please don't ever accept food or drinks from people you don't know, it's dangerous.

-He trusted the fan, but it's a dangerous country to be trusted. Now that he knows, hopefully he'll be more careful.
