Aron's Fan Meeting Ends Up Sold Out Despite Initially Met with Controversy over it's High-Priced Tickets

Amid controversy over former NU'EST member Aron's high-priced fan meeting, the tickets for the event have sold out.

On March 29th, Aron posted an announcement on his social media regarding the fan meeting. Aron's fan meeting will take place at a resort in Wonju, Gangwon Province from April 19th to 21st, spanning 2 nights and 3 days. It will follow a university retreat format, featuring various events and activities for Aron and his fans to enjoy together.

Upon closer inspection of the event details, fans can experience one-on-one photo time, mini video screenings, room visits, DIY classes, after-parties, fun sports events, high-touch events, and more with Aron.

The total number of participants for the fan meeting is limited to 300 people. Accommodation is based on quad rooms, and each participant is required to pay a total participation fee of 990,000 KRW (~$860 USD).

The price of the fan meeting, set at 990,000 won, sparked debate among netizens. Some argued that it was a luxury price for a 2-night, 3-day event, while others believed it was a reasonable price considering the extended duration compared to concerts lasting only a few hours, and the opportunity to spend time closely with the star.

Despite the endless debates surrounding Aron's fan meeting, it sold out, with registrations closing early due to high demand. Participant announcements are scheduled to be released on the 20th.

With Aron's fan meeting under scrutiny for its high price, attention is now focused on whether this event will conclude successfully. Meanwhile, Aron has been pursuing solo activities since the expiration of his exclusive contract with Pledis Entertainment in 2022.

-Wow, his fans are amazing!

-Well, isn't that obvious? Compared to fan signs, it's a total steal.

-Right? If I was his fan, I'd absolutely go. Rather than spending thousands of dollars for a fan sign that only lasts for a few minutes, spending that much for a 2-nights-3-days trip with my bias is definitely a steal.

-Plus, you're going with the other fans, so it'll be fun.

-Honestly, fan signs are the worst in terms of cost-effectiveness.

-Isn't lodging and meals also included? Seems okay to me.

-From international fans' perspectives, it's much more cost-effective than attending a concert for 3 days. I'm definitely going.

-Honestly, isn't it cost-effective? Plus, it'll be super fun gathering with true fans.

-Of course, it's a total steal...

-No, it's actually quite cheap, isn't it? And you get to meet your favorite idol...

-Isn't it actually quite cheap? Plus, meeting your favorite idol...? There's no reason to not go.

-This is like going on a trip together, why wouldn't you go? They'll provide lodging, food, and a lot of activities...ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-Wow, I'd definitely go too. Spending 2 nights and 3 days with my favorite idol? Sounds amazing, I envy them.

-As long as my mom doesn't find out about the price, I'm definitely going.

-Better than regular fan meetings. If it was my favorite idol, I'd go...

-I spend so much money and get anxious just talking for a minute, so 2 nights and 3 days seems reasonable.

-If it's one-on-one with my bias, it might be awkward, but with 300 fans, chatting all night with fellow fans and meeting the bias should feel comfortable... Sounds fun.

-I'd rather spend on this than on a fan meeting that costs hundreds.

-So jealous, I wish my bias would do something like this too.
