First of all, we would like to express our gratitude to all the fans who always support and love DKZ.
We would like to provide an update regarding the scheduled performance at the Cultwo Show in Boseong on April 29, 2023, as well as Kyoungyoon's future activities with DKZ.
1. Regarding the schedule
We have recently been informed that there have been some complaints (through the Boseong County Office and the National Petition Center) from the public requesting the cancellation of our artist's appearance at the event. As a result, the officials at Boseong County Office had to directly respond to these complaints, causing inconvenience to their work. Therefore, only 5 members of DKZ (Sehyeon, Mingyu, Jaechan, Jonghyeong, and Giseok) will participate in this event. We apologize to anyone who has been inconvenienced by this sudden change in the lineup.
2. Regarding Kyoungyoon's activities
Kyoungyoon is currently undergoing counseling and treatment while feeling a heavy sense of responsibility for the matters related to themselves. Based on the medical opinions he received, he will be focusing on treatment and stability for the time being due to symptoms of anxiety disorder and social phobia.
All problems related to the artist are due to our own shortcomings. We are aware that the decisions made at that time, under unprecedented circumstances, may not be satisfactory to all fans. Moving forward, we will continue to prioritize the safety and protection of our artists as our top priority when making decisions and developing plans. We will make every effort to ensure that the decisions made in this process earn the love and support of our fans.
Once again, we apologize to all those who were disappointed due to our shortcomings, and we will strive to support the development and growth of all our artists in the future.
Thank you
