'Shirtless and lay down on the floor' filming in The Blue House ... An endless controversy

Previously on June 2nd, Rain announced on his SNS account that he will be the first singer to hold a solo performance at The Blue House on June 17. This picture was released before the Cultural Heritage Administration established The Blue House Visit Regulations.

Singer Rain filmed his Netflix show, Take 1, in The Blue House shortly after it opened for the public. Amid criticism saying that Rain received special treatment, the Cultural Heritage Administration revealed that, "We have taken faithful measure to the principles".

Lee Byung-hoon of the Democratic Party of Korea, a member of the National Assembly's Culture, Sports, and Tourism Committee, revealed on his SNS account on the 21st, "The filming of singer Rain's Netflix show, The One, is violating The Blue House Visit Regulations and wasn't allowed. However, the Cultural Heritage Administration has applied a supplementary clause to prevent Rain from being subject to the regulations". He added, "It seems that the Cultural Heritage Administration has allowed Netflix to film the show because The Blue House has been opened since President Yoon was elected. This performance has harmed the historicity and symbolism of The Blue House"

> Are there any special treatments that Rain is getting?

Before The Blue House suddenly opened for the public on May 10th, the Cultural Heritage Administration created 'The Blue House Visiting Regulations' that state filming in The Blue House for commercial activities is prohibited. This is why IHQ Online Video Service (OTT) Platform Babayo was criticized for installing a sofa in front of The Blue House and filmed variety web shows while working with certain brands.

This new regulation was established on June 7th and implemented on June 12nd. According to Lee Byung-hoon, filming Netflix shows is not allowed because it's for commercial use. However, there was an exception saying that the regulation only applies to applications submitted after June 20th. A supplementary clause was applied to Rain's case because his performance was originally scheduled on June 17th.

Netflix's production team is under fire for exploring The Blue House in advance and promoting it as if the performance was already confirmed in May, way before the approval for the filming was done. Fuel was added to the fire as Netflix introduces more details about the show, Take One, starring singer Rain, on the 14th. Rain announced on his SNS account on June 2nd, that he will be the first singer to perform in The Blue House on upcoming June 17.

-Does he really think that makes him look cool...? Wake up, Rainㅎㅎㅎ

-This is embarrassing. Why is he acting like that?

-Did he really have to film and perform in The Blue House like that? It's not cool at all...

-It doesn't even make him look cool. Why did he have to perform in The Blue House?ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-Who told him he can do that in The Blue House? What the f*ck?

-I felt bad for him for getting a lot of hate comments, I used to leave him supportive comments in the articles and now I f*cking regret doing that...

-When did The Blue House become that kind of place...? I mean, forget about that... It doesn't suit him at all. Who gave him the idea to perform in The Blue House in the first place?

-I lost all my respect for him. He's a lunatic.

-Frankly speaking, that doesn't make him look cool. It does make him look cheap and low, though.

-He is just... Thoughtless. That's all.

-I already disliked him and now he's doing things that make me dislike him even more...

-I've never liked this guy anyway...

-Whoa... I'm literally at loss for words...

-He should've thought twice before doing that. Does he really have no idea how many people hate him already?
