DJ Soda got kicked out of an airplane because she was wearing pants with 'FUCK YOU' written on it. She defended, "I received this from an American brand. I have been on a U.S tour for months and never got any problems for wearing these pants on the plane". She explained, "I was sitting in the business class and drinking my welcome drink when a male flight attendant suddenly came and told me to take all of my belongings and leave the aircraft for no reason. When I reached the entrance of the airplane, he told me that my pants caused ''discomfort'' and asked me to take another airplane."
DJ Soda offered to change her pants because she couldn't miss the flight due to a meeting, however her offer was declined. She claimed that she had no other choice but to take off her pants at the entrance of the airplane where everyone was watching. She expressed her discomfort, "I wasn't wearing anything under that pants. They should've told me before I got on the plane. The flight attendant kept telling me to take another flight because my pants caused discomfort."
She continued, "After some negotiation that my team did, I could be on the flight but with my pants worn inside out. It was very uncomfortable to take off my pants because I had an injury to my finger. Not only that, I had to take it off at the entrance where everyone was watching. It was very degrading for me to beg them so that I can be on the flight. I was terrified and trembled for 6 hours during the flight."
DJ Soda said, "I've been touring around for 8 years and it's my first time getting kicked out of an airplane. It's also my first time having to take off my pants in front of a lot of people. It's unbelievable that this thing happened in the U.S, the country that upholds freedom. I hope no one else has to go through what I went through."
