According to officials from Incheon International Airport and the Incheon Airport Police Unit, the Incheon Airport authorities filed a complaint with the police around 5 PM today.
It is reported that the Incheon Airport authorities reviewed the actions of the private security company that escorted Mr. Byun on the 12th and found that blocking the entry gates used by airport passengers and arbitrarily inspecting passengers' tickets constituted abuse of power and coercion.
This lawsuit is said to have been initiated by the security team of the Incheon International Airport Corporation.
The police announced that yesterday, around 3 PM, they summoned the security personnel who were on duty at the scene during the incident as witnesses for investigation. The investigation, which lasted about an hour and a half, helped the police understand the facts of the events that took place at that time.
Earlier last week, officials from the Incheon Airport Security Unit also appeared at the police station as witnesses for questioning.
-I knew it would happen.
-Wow... things have escalated
-I read an article yesterday saying the security company negotiated with Incheon Airport. Was it a lie?
-Wow, now the security company might sue the agency.
-Well done!!!!
-Let's investigate and find out who's right and wrong.
-I expected this.
-The police are investigating, so let's wait for the results before jumping to conclusions.
-Who’s telling the truth?
-They deserve to be sued.
-Wow, this is getting too big.
-Security companies need to act within their authority and not overstep. Their job is to protect, not harm others.
-This is going to be interesting.
-If they had handled it well at the beginning, it wouldn't have escalated like this.
