Cube Entertainment's Official Statement on (G)I-DLE's Outfit Controversy

 Hello, this is Cube Entertainment.

We would like to address the issue regarding the stage outfits worn by (G)I-DLE during their performance of "Klaxon" on KBS 2TV's "Music Bank" broadcast on July 19.

We acknowledge that there was a problem with the stage outfits and have contacted the Korean Red Cross to apologize and actively discuss measures to prevent a recurrence and follow-up actions.

We extend our sincere apologies to all those who were inconvenienced by this issue.

We deeply appreciate the ongoing interest and support from our fans for (G)I-DLE.

Thank you.

-Good job.

-Let’s be careful in the future.

-Please change the stylist too.

-Please stop sexualizing professional attire.

-Oh well, be careful next time.

-They should have been careful.

-Maybe it’s time for K-pop to end.

-Female idols never seem to be free from such controversies.

-Haven’t we already talked about not making weird outfits from professional attire back in the 2010s?

-Why are they like this? They weren’t like this before.

-It almost feels like they’re aiming for noise marketing.

-It’s good that they quickly posted an apology.
