It seems like Blackpink has re-signed with YG for around 100 billion won per member

Today, the 2023 YG Entertainment business report was disclosed by the Financial Supervisory Service.

In the intangible assets section, it appears that YG acquired a new exclusive contract fee of 41,185,000,000 KRW in 2023. This indicates that YG Entertainment signed new exclusive contracts with artists in 2023, resulting in an acquisition of approximately 412 billion KRW in exclusive contract fees. Most of this amount is presumed to be related to re-signing Blackpink and possibly signing a new exclusive contract with Baby Monster.

By examining the list of artists below, it may be possible to determine who signed new exclusive contracts with YG or who re-signed with them in 2023.

Among the contracts signed last year, the only ones I know are Blackpink and Beomons, so I estimate that Blackpink's re-signing fee alone would exceed 300 billion KRW.

Considering an annual depreciation of 55 billion KRW, I predict the re-signing contracts to be for 7 years.

-If it's 100 billion each for 7 years, they're definitely going to do group activities

-It's not surprising, especially since Blackpink earns a lot from their tours. Their previous tours were successful, so I'm really looking forward to the next one.

-Wow, 100 billion per member plus the freedom for individual activities, this is a really good deal for Blackpink.

-They really fit well with YG.

-Re-signing for 7 years?? Wow.

-It's not that long since it's only for the group; individual contracts are separate, so it's not really that long~ Even though they re-signed last year, this year might be focused more on individual activities rather than group activities, so it's expected that they won't be active for all 7 years.

-Wow, there's going to be a lot of group activitiesㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I'm so excitedㅠㅠ Let's see Blackpink oftenㅠㅠ

-I guess they calculated the profits from the tour well and re-signed.

-Looking forward to their group activities. Please come back often.

-Blackpink deserves it, considering the revenue they generate from tours.

-If it's Blackpink, 100 billion per member seems reasonable considering the revenue they generate from the tours...

-They probably earned over 500 billion won from the tour. I heard that Blackpink was in the top 10 worldwide. Next, they'll probably earn even more than this.

-YG doesn't have many singers compared to what I thought? They better bet everything on Baby Monster.

-It's natural that it costs a lot to keep Blackpink.

-It's possible for Blackpink. 7 years is too long, but I'm happy because I want to see them as a complete group for a long time ㅋㅋ

-I'm just waiting for a new album ㅠㅠ
