BTS' fandom, also known as ARMY, has voiced their opposition to the return of former ADOR CEO Min Heejin. Some fans expressed their opposition after Jungkook showed his support for NewJeans, which caused a stir among fans.
On the 16th, a group of BTS' fans, who referred themselves as 'members of the BTS ARMY community,' issued a statement through online communities saying, "We express unified opposition to the return of Min Heejin as CEO of HYBE's subsidiary label, ADOR."
ARMY stated, "We are all aware of the actions done by former CEO Min during BTS' military service. She had consultations with shamans with the intentions to harm BTS and she also attempted to manipulate Korean media to create negative public opinion about BTS and ARMY. We urge former CEO Min to stop using artists and fandom as shields for her own agenda and to spread lies."
On the 11th, NewJeans held an emergency live broadcast on Youtube titled, "The Things NewJeans Wants to Say." The members expressed they still have confidence in former CEO Min and requested for 'Chairman Bang and HYBE to restore ADOR to its original state by the 25th.'
Additionally, on the 14th, BTS' Jungkook, who is currently serving in the military, posted five heart emojis and a 'fighting' emoji on his dog Jeon Bam's Instagram account, along with the caption "Artists are not guilty", leading to speculation that Jungkook was indirectly showing his support for NewJeans.
