Both the Military Manpower Administration (MMA) and the police have launched investigations into the allegations of duty negligence against Winner Song Mino's military service. The supervisor at the facility where he served has cooperated with the police investigation, including requests to preserve police CCTV footage, while also stating that Song Mino's health condition made it difficult for him to perform regular duties like other civilians.

On the 19th, A, the supervisor at Mapo Resident Welfare Facility where Song Mino served his duty, told Ilgan Sports in a phone call, "Since the news broke, officials from the MMA has continuously come to the site to review relevant materials such as CCTV footage and attendance records. The police also recently contacted us to request preservation of the CCTV footage."

The allegations of Song Mino's duty negligence first surfaced on the 17th through a report by a media outlet. The report claimed that snce transferring to Mapo Resident Welfare Facility in March, Song Mino had occassionaly shown up for work, signing in, smoke a cifarette, and then disappear, causing significant controversy.

Regarding these allegations, A stated, "As the investigation is ongoing, I cannot confirm specific details about his negligence." However, he cautiously responded about Song Mino's condition based on his observations. A mentioned that Song Mino has been diagnosed with panic disorder and bipolar disorder, saying, "He is unable to carry out normal activities. His body is almost constantly under the influence of medication." He added, "There are periods when his symptoms, such as panic attacks, get worse. Particularly in March, as well as in October, November, and December."

In fact, Song Mino has been receiving treatment for a long time due to conditions such as panic disorder and bipolar disorder. He was classified as Level 4 during his military physical examination, making him eligible for alternative service.

A explained, "When Song Mino transferred to this facility in March, the MMA, our facility and Song Mino himself had a meeting. At the time, the MMA discussed assigning tasks that wouldn't draw attention to Song Mino, and considering his discomfort with being seen by other employees, we decided to provide him with a separate rest area."

Song Mino, who is scheduled for military discharge on the 23rd, is currently on sick leave and is facing allegations of duty negligence. A stted, "I understand that the MMA has requested that Song Mino submit materials to explain the allegations of irregular attendance." He added, "While his discharge is unlikely to be delayed at this point, if problems are found, future penalties or actions will depend on the investigation."

-It’s really cruel that all these details are being exposed.

-It makes me realize that being a celebrity is glamorous, but it must be lonely too... To have such detailed information about your health exposed.

-Dispatch, you scumbags.

-This is really cruel… Stop revealing details about his health informationㅠㅠ

-I thought being away from the entertainment industry would help him abit... I don't know what he went through to have such a hard time, but I wonder if this can be treated...?

-At this point, he shouldn’t have been working. The separate area was probably just a kind gesture from the supervisor, but it could look like special treatment. If his condition is that serious, it might have been better to have him leave against his will. The supervisor is now caught in an awkward position now. Investigating this isn't simple. Anyway, I hope he gets proper treatment for his condition.

-Given the severity of his condition, he should've been exempted from the military service.

-Can't you be discharged if your health worsens during public service? It's unfortunate for him, but it seems like he was given too many privileges... I understand that the intentions were good, but you know what happens when someone gets too much of a favor... If his health condisiton has deteriorated significantly, I think it would've been better if he requested for a discharge (?)

-Does anxiety disorder have a cycle? That’s interesting.

-I’m not a fan, but he did look a bit depressed when they appeared on shows like 'I Live Alone.' He just doesn't seem as active as before.
