Kim Soohyun will clarify his position next week regarding the allegations that he dated the late Kim Saeron when she was a minor.
On the 13th, Kim Soohyun's agency, Gold Medalist, released an official statement saying, "We will clarify everything and respond to the baseless rumors with clear evidence. We will reveal our position next week." They added, "We apologize for the fatigue this has caused. We ask for your understanding as this is to prevent further reports."
Previously, the family of the late Kim Saeron claimed on the YouTube channel Garo Sero Research Institute that Kim Saeron had been in a romantic relationship with Kim Soohyun for about 6 years, starting from the age of 15. Through the channel, photos of Kim Soohyun kissing Kim Saeron on the cheek and text messages from Kim Saeron asking Kim Soohyun for help after receiving a legal notice, were disclosed, causing a stir.
In response, Kim Soohyun's agency, Gold Medalist, stated that these were 'Clearly false facts,' and they plan to consider taking the strongest possible legal actions against Garo Sero Research Institute for spreading misinformation. Despite additional revelations, the company emphasized that there are no changes in their stance.
