Aespa's Karina and Ningning, along with BLACKPINK's Jisoo, will walk the red carpet at this year's Met Gala.
Karina, Ningning, and Jisoo will attend the '2026 Met Gala' held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York at 7 AM (KST) on the 5th.
The Met Gala, which began in 1948, is the world's largest fashion charity event. This year's theme is 'Costume Art' with the dress code 'Fashion is Art.'
Jisoo will be walking the red carpet for the first time this year. Karina and Ningning are also attending for the first time. Karina was invited as a global ambassador for the fashion brand 'Prada,' and Ningning as a global ambassador for 'Gucci.'
Many global stars are expected to attend the event, including Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, Anna Wintour, Sabrina Carpenter, Doja Cat, and Sam Smith.
Aespa's Ninging responded firmly to a hate comment about her appearance during a 'no-makeup' live broadcast.
Recently, Ningning held a live broadcast to communicate with fans through her social media. On this day, she chatted with fans in her natural, bare-faced appearance. She stood before the camera without any makeup to celebrate International Women's Day.
During a broadcast, a viewer left a comment saying, "You're ugly without makeup." Seeing this, Ningning didn't get flustered and responded with a laugh, saying, "So what? This is just how I look."
She continued, "It's funny that someone says I'm ugly while I'm in the middle of talking about accepting ourselves as we are," adding, "Calling someone ugly is not a cool thing to do."
She also added, "Everyone looks different, don't they? I might not suit your personal taste, but instead of using your time to write 'You're ugly,' wouldn't it be better to listen to one more song?"
Ningning also shared a sincere advice with fans, saying, "I'm stronger than you might think I am," and added, "Because I focus on my people, my family, my friends, and my fans, I don't really care what anyone says."
She also mentioned the distorted views about women's weight, saying, "What does it matter how many kilograms you weigh? I just hope everyone eats what they want, travels, and lives happily."
Meanwhile, Aespa is preparing for a comeback with their second full-length album in May.
Aespa's Ningning shared an advice for mental care.
On the 29th, fashion magazine Harper's Bazaar Korea posted a vide titled, 'What is the secret to Aespa Ningning's mental health?' on its official Youtube channel.
In the video, when asked which exercise is the most effective, Ningning replied, "Deadlifts." She recommended it, saying, "It's actually fun. If you want to build muscle quickly, consistency is key."
She laughed and said, "As for my straight shoulders, both my parents have very wide, square shoulders. So, I think it's DNA." She added, "If you work on your arms and back, it can also fix your posture and it makes you look prettier."
When asked about her mental care routine, Ningning said, "Always have a positive mindset and think, 'Let's just hang in there a little longer,' and good things will definitely come to you. No matter how much advices other people give you, your mental health can only get better if you realize it yourself."
When asked which member she'd like to switch lives with for a day, Ningning chose Winter, saying, "Winter's preferences are very different from mine. I'm not a very planned person, while Winter is very planned. I'd like to try living like that for just one day."
