After BTS member Jungkook posted a message supporting NewJeans, it has been reported that some HYBE employees expressed frustration and discontent.

On September 14, Jungkook posted a picture of his dog, Jeon Bam, on the dog's Instagram account, along with the message “Artists are not guilty.” He also added emojis representing the colors of NewJeans’ Powerpuff Girls aesthetic—blue, pink, yellow, green, and purple—along with a flexed arm emoji, clearly showing his support for the group.

As soon as Jungkook posted this, the HYBE discussion board on the anonymous workplace community 'Blind' lit up with reactions.

One HYBE employee shared Jungkook’s post, commenting, "I feel even more bitter now. What have we been working for?"

Other HYBE employees quickly chimed in, with reactions like: "It looks like the company is going to split up," "Of all the artists, why this one? It feels like the company is heading toward collapse. Is this a signal to escape?" "It’s true that artists aren’t guilty. Neither am I. So what are the guilty parties doing right now?" "Looks like they’re determined on killing the rest," and "This just reminds that regular employees mean nothing here."

Some employees speculated, "Isn’t this a message for Min Heejin?" While others disagreed, stating, "There are more people who think this is directed at HYBE." Some expressed regret over Jungkook's comment, saying ""Are you really listening to the most reckless person?" and "Look at how this situation is being interpreted and how it's causing even more controversy. What's so good about this?"

As the debate raged both within and outside of HYBE, the company stepped in to address the situation.

Jungkook later added another post on Instagram, saying, "Don’t use them," seemingly in reference to the controversy.

HYBE’s Big Hit Music label also released a statement, clarifying, "Jungkook posted this out of the belief that, under no circumstances, should young artists be dragged into disputes or used as shields."

Meanwhile, on the Blind platform, posts criticizing former HYBE executive Min Hee-jin, Shin Wooseok of Dolphin Kidnapping Group (NB: Dolphiner Films), and NewJeans have been circulating, causing anger among NewJeans fans.

-Congratulations!!

-Well, that's a good thing.

-I feel like if they don’t have money, they'll just sell off labels to whoever pays, so it'd be best if they split up on their own at the right time.

-It might actually be a good idea for them to split up at this point!

-Is HYBE really blaming Jungkook now??? Since there's already a split, why not go ahead and fully divide?

-Honestly, it’s laughable. An entertainment company that splits over one artist's comment? How hollow and rotten can it be?

-Don't they already have a lot of debt? Let Bang Si-hyuk sell off all the labels he boughtㅋㅋㅋ My bias's label is doing garbage stuff anyway, so I'm hoping they get sold and disbanded.

-This journalist is known for writing hateful articles about BTS, probably wrote this to blame Jungkook again.

-Congrats, I hope my fave leaves HYBE

-I'm hoping for BTS to leave HYBE.

-HYBE has really become a laughingstock.

Current situation of fanboys freaking out after a certain girl group sold donate the profits of their photocard sales for 'Women's Support Program'

A group called TripleS released a song called "Girls Never Die," which resonated with many teenage girls.

Recently, the company announced the <We Never Die> project, where profits from their photocards (seemingly digital) sales would be donated to a women's support project...

This one is really not it. Anyone can see the clear agenda here. Women's support - it's said to be mostly feminist organizations and that's true, this isn't rightㅠ

-They should reveal detailed information about this women's support project.

-They're doing a donation, but wouldn't it be fine if they specified which organization they’re donating to?ㅋㅋ

-At a time when gender equality is a sensitive topic, why specifically support a women's project... They should support something more universally agreeable like the elderly living alone or young breadwinners.

-Ughㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-They're struggling to buy proper dorms, and now they’re donating?

-How can you trust something just by seeing the words ‘women's support project’?

-Honestly, they should release something supporting soldiers or something like that.

-I’m passing on this project.

-I’m feeling uneasy...

-I just started getting into this group a few days ago and have been watching their videos on YouTube, though.

-Seems like they’ll be catering mainly to female fans from now on.

-If there’s dissatisfaction about the donation, it’s a matter of transparency.

-Isn’t our fandom dominated by fanboys?

-Let's not hate them for thisㅋㅋ

-Has anyone tried using the Japanese Wav forwarding service?

-From MODHAUS' perspective, this is crazy value for money, I guess..

-MODHAUS, you bastards. If you want to launder money, do it through over-the-counter business.

-We pay the money, but MODHAUS gets all the credit.

-MODHAUS, your announcement is not clear.

-It’s "Girls Never Die," so who else would the donations go to if not women?

Is this for real?? Nearly 80% of the fandom is male, and you’re donating to a women's support project??? Are they out of their minds... They’ve never even done a military performance.

Male fans are starting to freak outㄷㄷㄷ

Meanwhile, foreign fans are showing nothing but support, cheering, and saying they’ll buy it.

When you look at the mentions on Twitter, foreign fans are enthusiastically backing them.

TripleS Girls Never Die, fighting! 👍

theqoo

-Oh, the boys can go die for all I care, just stay out of good deeds.

-Then why do they like female idols...? The cognitive dissonance of the incels in this country is insane. They like women so much and yet they're bashing them so f*cking hard, isn't that way too selfish?ㅋㅋㅋㅋ If they want a military performance, they should perform it themselvesㅋㅋㅋ

-What are they even saying? Even just looking at the comments on their YouTube, it’s dominated by female fans.

-Hmm. You might be reborn as a woman, so why don’t you go ahead and die first!

-They don’t even spend money, yet they complain a lot.

-Exactly... Why are they stanning a girl group that released a song titled 'Girls Never Die'? If you want to stan a girl group with that song, they should fix their mindset first~

-Fighting! I really like 'Girls Never Die'!

-Do we even need male fans who freak out over stuff like this? Just shut up, spend your money on them first before you complain.

-Don’t male fans not buy photocards anyway?

-?? If they were gonna act like this, they should have stopped stanning the group when the song title was first revealedㅋㅋ Do they not understand English..?

"I've never seen anyone demanding for his departure (from the group" "Now is the time for encouragement" Fans cheer for BTS' Suga

The front of HYBE building known as 'a sacred site' is now filled with fan-funded banners.

The Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office previously filed a summary indictment on the 10th for BTS' Suga (Real name: Min Yoongi)'s DUI case. Min was caught by the police while driving an electric scooter under the influence In Yongsan-gu, Seoul, on the 6th of last month. He was then handed over to the prosecution on the 30th on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol.

BTS' fandom, ARMY, experienced a divide over the issue. While some of them demand that 'Criminals should leave the group,' some argue, 'He shouldn't be placed on an excessive responsibility for an incident that caused no injuries.'

Most of BTS' international fans supported and cheered Suga, saying, 'It's time to support and cheer (for him),' since the police completed their investigation. By August 28th, various fan-funded support banners and truck ads that were prepared with donations via platforms like Paypal can be spotted just outside HYBE's headquarters building in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Banner advertisements with supportive messages were installed on the streetlight in front of the building and trucks loaded with electronic signboards playing supportive messages were also spotted parked on the road in front of the headquarters building.

Korean fans who visited the site that is considered a pilgrimage for some, said, 'Suga leaving the group would make no sense.' Yoo (49) said, 'People say that Korean fans demand Suga to leave the group, but I have never personally seen anyone saying so in the fan gathering. I don't know where that opinions came from.' Kim (31) added, 'I know we should hold influential and famous people accountable for their moral responsibility, but don't politicians get to keep their positions even after DUI case? I don't want to say two wrongs make it right, but it's only fair that he takes responsibility in proportion to his actions.'

International fans, many of whom visited Korea inspired by their love for BTS, also came to HYBE's headquarters building. Martha Molinar (40, Mexico) said, 'I have been sightseeing in Korea for 10 days because I like BTS. I really like Korea, but I don't understand the heavy public opinion. I think it's time to forgive and cheer, rather than criticize and blaming.' A (33, Japan) commented, 'There’s a difference between being strict and being harsh. Korea might need a broader discussion on the ethical standards for its celebrities.'

Meanwhile, banners hanging on streetlights were removed on August 29th due to a lack of legal permission. A district official said, 'The legitimate procedure is to report to the district office first before hanging banners from the street lamps. It seems like the banners were installed without permission because foreign fans were not aware of the law here in Korea.' Megumi Suemura (50, Japan), one of the fans present, cheered when she managed to get one of the removed banners.

-ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I’m losing it.

-Don't be ridiculous. BTS' fans around me are all demanding him to leave the group.

-Illegal bannersㅋ

-Look at the media playㅋㅋㅋ

-HYBE and Suga's fans are on the same pageㅋㅋㅋ

-Megumi-ssi, the last sentence is really funnyㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-Being the fans of a criminal they are, everything they do is illegal.

-Megumi-san obtaining an illegal banner.

-'He should leave the group!!' Now you hear someone demanding for his withdrawal, right? Yeah, just leave already.

-Ugh... These people are out of their minds.

-Cheering a criminal???? Are you in your right mind?????

-49 years old and acting like that?ㅋㅋㅋ

-Did they not understand because they don’t speak Korean? Even I heard it loud and clear.
