BTOB's Lee Changsub, APINK's Park Chorong, and HIGHLIGHT's Son Dongwoon shared the harsh trainee culture during their time at their former agency.

Recently, a video titled 'We're here to discipline today's K-Pop (APINK, BTOB, BEAST)' was posted on Changsub's Youtube channel. In the opening, the production team surprised him by saying, "Weren't you from Cube? We've gathered people who resigned from Cube." Soon after, Chorong and Dongwoon appeared, and the three greeted each other warmly.

The three went on to discuss the strict rules and atmosphere during their time at Cube Entertainment. Recalling her trainee days, Chorong said, "There were evaluations every weekend and every end of the month." Changsub added, "Weekly evaluations were just about what you practiced that week, but monthly evaluations were basically about whether you'd be fire or not." Chorong recalled, "It was truly terrifying."

Changsub shared, "Every month was nerve-wracking. They cut people without hesitation," adding, "You could even get fired if you couldn't lose weight." When Chorong mentioned, "We were weighed every Monday," Changsub agreed, saying, "Same for us. I was 80kg when I first joined the company, but then I dropped to 60kg."

He continued, "They wanted the girls to be in the low 40kg range and the boys in the mid 60kg range. For the taller ones, they wanted them in the low 70kg range," sharing the strict standards at the time.

Chorong shared a particularly frightening memory, saying, "When I couldn't lose weight, my dance teacher told me, 'Chorong-ah, you're in danger right now. People upstairs are talking.' I remember crying while running on the treadmill after hearing that," drawing sympathy.

'Single's Inferno 5' Kim Goeun personally addressed why she didn't choose Jo Igeon during the final selection.

On the 20th, a video featuring Jo Yoosik and Hong Jiyeon from 'EXchange 4' and Kim Goeun and Song Seungil from 'Single's Inferno 5' was posted on Daesung's Youtube channel.

Daesung began cautiously, saying, "When I appeared on other shows, I really hated MCs who asked uncomfortable questions. I never thought I'd be the one asking them like this," before asking Kim Goeun, "So what's going on between you and Igeon?"

When Kim Goeun replied, "We are doing well," Daesung immediately followed up, "So how exactly are you doing well?", drawing laughter from everyone. He then asked again, "Are the two of you still in touch after that?" and Kim Goeun nodded, saying, "Yes."

Daesung continued, "Your final choice created a lot of buzz," and asked directly, "What was the reason you didn't choose Igeon?"

Kim Goeun confessed, "The biggest reason was mutual acquaintances," adding, "Even when my feelings toward him grew, it felt like there was always a brake holding me back."

Daesung then asked, "Why would mutual acquaintances be such a big deal? Is it necessarily a bad thing?", causing Kim Goeun to look flustered.

After the video was released, netizens reacted with speculations, saying things like, "I'm really curious about the mutual acquaintances," and "Maybe the mutual acquaintance in question is her ex-boyfriend."

Meanwhile, although Kim Goeun and Jo Igeon didn't become a final couple on 'Single's Inferno 5,' they reunited in the 'Single's Inferno' reunion episode released last February. They cleared up misunderstandings and promised to go on a date, showing a much closer relationship. As their sweet chemistry continues, the public is now interested in the possibility of them becoming a 'real-life couple.'
