Han Sohee wraps filming for the Korean remake of 'The Intern': 'Choi Minsik is an energizer ... Made me realize I still have a long way to go"

SOURCE: 한국판 '인턴' 촬영 마친 한소희 "최민식 선배는 에너자이저, 난 멀었다 느끼기도"

During an interview ahead of the release of the film 'Project Y,' Han Sohee mentioned the movie 'The Intern' which she recently finished filming. She shared that she learned about passion and humility from Choi Minsik.

Han Sohee said, "Senior Choi Minsik is someone you can never predict. Even if I went in with hundreds or thousands of ways to approach a scene, it felt like he was always several steps ahead. I realized he was a mountain that can't be conquered."

She added, "His energy, in particular, was amazing. It made me wonder if I could have that kind of energy if I were still acting at his age. I thought that just having that level of energy alone would already mean doing half the job on set. He loves acting like crazy. Watching him made me think, 'I still have a long, long way to go.'"

'The Intern,' which marks the first collaboration between the two, follows the story of Sunwoo (Han Sohee), the CEO of a fashion company who is more passionate about her work than anyone, as she hires Giho (Choi Minsik), a man with a wealth of life experience whom she hires as a senior intern. The film is a remake of the Hollywood movie released in 2015 that achieved global box-office success. The project is directed by Kim Doyoung, known for 'Kim Jiyoung, Born 1982' and 'Once We Were Us.'

Choi Minsik plays the older intern, the role originally played by Robert De Niro. Meanwhile Han Sohee, plays the young CEO. The project, which drew major attention from the casting stage, has recently completed filming and entered post-production.

Entering the 9th year since debut, Han Sohee said she does not tend to praise herself. She also emphasized that 'skill' is the most important thing in an environment where charming new actors are constantly emerging. She said, “These days, there are many people who are good at acting, beautiful, and talented. My homework is to continue meeting the public with an irreplaceable charm.”

'Project Y,' which will showcase Han Sohee’s latest acting transformation, is set to be released on the 21st.

Han Sohee opens up about 'Hyeri hate comments' allegations ... "I have to accept it"

SOURCE: 한소희, '혜리 악플러' 의혹에 입 열었다…"받아들여야 해"

On the 16th, Han Sohee did an interview for the film 'Project Y' at a cafe in Jongno-gu, Seoul.

Previously, Han Sohee had been embroiled in a social media controversy alongside her co-star in 'Project Y,' Jeon Jongseo. Addressing the issue, she confessed, "Even though I feel unfair, I think I have to humbly accept public opinion." She continued, "As I am an actress, I receive a lot of public attention. I feel a sense of duty and responsibility to make sure my words carry credibility."

She explained, "I don't think everyone can think the same way. If there are 10 people, it's impossible for all 10 to like me. If I question every single thing, I won't grow. I have to accept things to some extent. If I view it as a constructive feedback, it can actually become a constructive feedback." She continued, "I believe it can be a way to analyze myself objectively, to see what parts I should be careful with and what parts I need to develop further," before smiling and adding, "But I still hope people will like me."

Previously, Han Sohee was caught up in allegations that she had posted hate comments on Hyeri's social media using a secret second account back in 2024. Speculations arose after the severely abusive comment was found to be following Han Sohee's stylist and was also followed by Jeon Jongseo, leading some to suspect it belonged to Han Sohee.

As the controversy grew, her agency firmly denied the clams, saying, "The account in question does not belong to Han Sohee. If this is proven to be false, we will take full legal responsibility. Furthermore, we ask that people refrain from unverified speculation." Jeon Jongseo's agency also released a statement saying, "It is difficult to confirm as it is the actress' private life."

'Project Y,' set to be released on the 21st, is a crime thriller that follows the story of Misun and Dokyung, two women standing at the edge of life, as they steal black money and gold bars in the heart of a glamorous city.

Han Sohee: "Removing tattoos is really painful ... It became a disadvantage, removing them for work is the right choice"

Han Sohee shared these thoughts during an interview on the afternoon of the 16th, ahead of the release of her movie, 'Project Y.'

Known for her beauty and unique fashion sense, Han Sohee has also been widely recognized as an actress who enjoyed tattoos. However, she has been consistently removing them as she builds a different image.

She repeatedly saying, "It's really painful.' She added, "I still have some tattoos left. I only got them in places that wouldn't interfere too much with my projects."

She continued, "Technology has improved so much these days. There are so many options, like tattoo stickers and other things. I just use those instead.I don't feel burdened by the attention on my fashion or tattoos. I've always dressed this way, and I think a lot of people like my personal style. Of course, I should show different sides of myself, but I don't obsess over things like, 'What should I wear tomorrow?'"

Regarding her reason for removing her tattoos, she explained, "As an actress, I can't wear dresses. There needs to be diversity in the roles that I take. As you know, I had tattoos on my arms. Considering the wide variety of outfits I have to wear and the different moods that I need to express, I felt that (the tattoos) were a disadvantage."

She further explained, "I think that's why I decided to remove them. I figured I can always get them again later if I want. So for now, it was right to remove them for the sake of my work."

'Project Y' tells the story of Misun (Han Sohee) and Dokyung (Jeon Jongseo), who live in the heart of a glamorous city while dreaming of different futures. They both end up stealing black money and gold bars when pushed to the edge of their lives.

1. [+203][-19] It's not like henna doesn't exist. I honestly don't get why grown-ups with fully formed brains get tattoos. Seriously, kids, please just do henna. Don't get tattoos. They bring literally zero benefit to your life. If you really want to get one, just use henna instead.

2. [+105][-6] Tattoo is a sign of a cheap life.

3. [+101][-4] I heard tattoos can be addictive. You have such a beautiful skin, don't scribble all over it. If you really want to get one, please just use the sticker ones. As people get older, their actions and words reflect on their faces more than their natural looks do. You have to manage yourself well to maintain a healthy body. You may have come from a difficult background, but since you’ve become an actress like this, I hope you last long not just as a star, but as a truly good actress.

Han Sohee is like a corpse without her habit of 'blaming others' ... It would all end with just one certificate of acceptance

Actress Han Sohee seems to be a troublemaker regardless of circumstances.

Back in March, when she broke up with Ryu Junyeol, she blamed others, seeming to point fingers at Ryu Junyeol for his indifferent attitude and Hyeri's "Isn't it fun?" comment. Now, she's blaming "Na Youngseok PD's editing" while raising suspicions about her academic background. Han Sohee seems oblivious to the fact that she's creating trouble for herself, both then and now. If it's not a lie, she could easily dispel all doubts by publicly disclosing her French university acceptance letter or DELF certificate. So why is she engaging in past disputes?

Furthermore, her agency 9ATO Entertainment, which claimed responsibility for managing Han Sohee, adds fuel to the fire. The agency stated to DongA.com, "It's true that she was accepted to a university. However, we cannot disclose specific details as it pertains to her personal life." If it's private, then we hope she refrains from discussing it on broadcasts.

Watching the video, it's Han Sohee herself who mentioned her acceptance to a French university and the specific amount involved. So what part was edited to make her claim it was "misrepresented"? It's a suspicion that could be resolved by simply providing documentary evidence, yet she's dragged Na Youngseok PD into the uproar.

theqoo

-Seriously, everything will be sorted out if she posted proof of her acceptance. But instead, she chose to blame the editing and now she ended up getting a lot of hate for no reason.

-If it's privacy that can't be disclosed, then she shouldn't talk about it on broadcasts.

-It's really tiresome.

-I  have a question, not to defend her, but can you receive a certificate of acceptance? I've been accepted to an overseas school before but didn't go, but can I request that certificate of acceptance? Even if it's been a while? (I'm asking because I want it... I didn't save it back then...)

-There's no way there isn't any documentation to prove it

-She suddenly became an icon of disgrace

-When did Theqoo become a place for ridiculing and mocking each other?? Whether she got accepted or not, what's the point? Are people having fun driving someone to a corner like this?? I feel like everyone here has gone mad lately.

-Well said. When you make a mistake, just apologize. Why blame others and add lies upon lies? If you feel unjust, bring the certificate of acceptance. If you can't, please stop talking anymore.

-But people who have a habit of blaming others like that don't even realize that it's blaming others... they just feel unfairly treated all the time.

-Just say, "I misremembered the amount due to the passage of time, and I'm sorry for causing confusion due to incorrect information." Then everything would be over.

-I'm not particularly interested in whether she got accepted or not, I even think she might have actually been accepted, but her handling of it seems really poor...

-Nobody even asked about it but she started talking weirdly on her own, which raised doubts among international students, so why is she blaming editing now? I don't get it.

Han Sohee's Agency Dismissed Suspicions of Lies ... "She was Admitted to a School in France"

Amid suspicions surrounding actress Han Sohee's admission to a French school, her agency has officially stated, "It is true that Han Sohee was admitted to a French school, as she directly disclosed on a variety show."

On the morning of the 29th, Han Sohee's agency told Star Today, "We cannot disclose specific details as they are personal matters, but everything Han Sohee mentioned directly on broadcasts is true," and dismissed suspicions of "lies" by confirming, "It is true that she was admitted to a French school."

Recently, online discussions have surfaced regarding suspicions of Han Sohee's admission to a French school, where she discussed with a netizen. In January, Han Sohee revealed on the web variety show 'Na Young-seok's Nattering with Nah' that she was admitted to a French school but couldn't attend, which led to suspicions of falsehoods and subsequent clarification.

Subsequently, some netizens pointed out discrepancies between the bank account balance required for a French student visa application and Han Sohee's statements, pressuring her to provide proof of admission or proficiency in French.

theqoo

-Where's the proof of admission? There should be an acceptance letter, right? Where did she get accepted?

-Instead of all this, just post documents that can prove the acceptance. That would clear things up.

-Koreans are sensitive to academic credentials, so it would be better to definitively prove it and be done with it.

-It's not like anyone's losing anything by believing this...

-But why does this matter?ㅋㅋㅋ It's funny. I'm not a fan of Han Sohee, but I feel really sorry for her.

-Seriously, people are scary. Can't they just believe it? How does this affect our lives so much?

-Han Sohee isn't a politician, nor is it a parliamentary hearing. Why does she have to prove anything? That's even weirder.

-What's with all the talk about Tablo? Tablo provided his graduation certificate and people still didn't believe him.

-Even if she doesn't have it personally, the school will provide it upon request. I've also requested it before, so I know.

-No need to bring up Tablo

-There are really a lot of people with nothing better to do... Please, just stop it.

-Why are people so obsessed? Sometimes it seems like they want to harass people out of frustration.

-Han Sohee isn't even going to become a private tutor, so why is this important to the public?

-There are so many cases of academic fraud in Korea, even in the entertainment industry or among celebrities, therefore this topic is really sensitive.

The Parts in Han Sohee's Instagram Post That Get Misunderstood by Netizens

I am deeply frustrated as one of the involved parties remains silent.

That being said, I worry that speculative articles could be written claiming that I am involved in 'Transit Love', even though it's not true. Therefore, I earnestly request that you understand that the words I am currently speaking are written based on the facts from both sides' companies, regardless of my emotions.

'One of the involved parties remains silent.' In this context, she's clearly referring to Hyeri. However, the public thinks Hyeri has actually spoken up and the person who remains silent that she refers to is actually Ryu Junyeol. Everyone has mixed opinions.

Indeed, they broke up last year. It is true that they exchanged their final farewells, wishing each other well and good health. (I'm writing this to clarify that this statement is not intended to disclose personal details of their relationship, but to emphasize that I was not involved in 'Transit Love). I can't go into details about this since I wasn't involved in the matter mentioned in (Hyeri) Sunbaenim's apology letter, saying that they agreed to meet in November. However, they agreed to meet not with the intention to makeup/reunite.

If this is untrue, you are welcome to publish articles to deny this. To (Hyeri) Sunbaenim, who I can't seem to reach no matter how hard I try, if you wish to contact me, feel free to do so.

Netizens are also having mixed opinions because of Han Sohee claims that she can't reach Hyeri no matter how hard she tries.

theqoo

-Isn't it obvious that she was talking about Hyeri?

-If her boyfriend remains silent amidst all of this chaos, she should break up with him.

-I think she was expressing her frustration towards Ryu Junyeol and his company who remains tight-lipped. If it was about Hyeri, she would've referred to her as 'Sunbaenim' like in the second picture.

-Isn't it Hyeri? What reason could there be for her boyfriend not responding to her contacts?

-She was talking about Ryu Junyeol in the first picture and Hyeri in the second picture.

-I think she was referring to Ryu Junyeol in the first picture.

-Reporters think it's Ryu Junyeol. They have been writing articles about it.

-Hyeri posted an apology letter and Ryu Junyeol only made a statement through his company. Therefore, we can conclude that only Ryu Junyeol remains silent.

-Just the fact that her post gets mixed opinions like this shows that it's not a well-written post.

-Her writing is just terribleㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-It's obviously Hyeri. You guys are saying that you think she was talking about Ryu Junyeol there?ㅋㅋㅋ

-I think she was talking about Hyeri in both passages...

-Just mind your own business, guys...

-Who do you think is the 'senior who can't be reached no matter how hard she tries'? It's obviously Hyeri.

-It's shocking how you guys can't even understand this... She was obviously talking about Hyeri.

-She must be so frustrated to see us not able to understand what she tries to say and debating over thisㅋㅋㅋㅋ

"I Don't Look Like Song Hyekyo, XX" Han Sohee's Past Controversy Resurfaces as She Clarifies 'Transit Love' Allegations

Han Sohee gets involved in another controversy while attempting to clarify the 'Transit Love' suspicions surrounding her.

Recently, there has been a post in online communities stating that when Han Sohee was still working as a model for a fashion company in the past, she cursed at comments suggesting her resemblance to Song Hyekyo. At that time, when comments saying 'You look like Song Hyekyo' were posted on her social media, she responded with curses, saying, "Are all of you XX in the head? No matter who you think I resemble, keep your opinions to yourselves. You crazy XXXXs," expressing her anger. She further stated, "I don't look like her XX," expressing her frustration.

theqoo

-Is that real?? That doesn't sound like the Han Sohee I know now at all...

-But didn't she say she was a big fan of Song Hyekyo?

-I don't think this became an issue because she was angry for being told that she resembles another celebrity. It became an issue because netizens were surprised with the way she responds to the comments.

-That has always been the image of her that I have in my mind. She seems very impatient, rude, and curses a lot.

-I'm just surprised by the way she responds...

-Even her past controversies that are not related to her current relationship are resurfacing online... It's a chaos

-I don't think she was angry for being told she looked like Song Hyekyo. She was just frustrated because people kept mentioning Song Hyekyo in her account.

-As expected, people with a lot of tattoos can't avoid prejudice

-Why are they focusing on who she resembles? I find her language to be quite rough. It's too vulgar and coarse. Your words reflect who you are. If you think using such language is common, take a look at the people around you.

-The point isn't that she resembles Song Hyekyo; the point is that she used such profanity when someone said she resembled someone else. Why are you guys so fixated on Song Hyekyo?

-Is it such an offensive remark to be told that she resembles Song Hyekyo to the extent that she would swear? Judging from this, it seems like living as a celebrity doesn't suit her from the start.

-Why would she curse someone who complimented her on resembling a beautiful celebrity? She's just that kind of person, isn't she?

-There are so many XXXX words that I don't even understand what's being said.

-She did say those things. It's just that it wasn't clear who she was cursing at.
Are all of you XX in the head? No matter who you think I resemble, keep your opinions to yourselves. You crazy XXXXs.
I don't even resemble her, XX. F*ck.
Is this your own chat room?ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

'Mouthless Polar Bear' Ryu Junyeol's Silence Sparks Controversy... Even Han Sohee Expresses Her Frustration

"It's not 'Transit Love', what's so interesting about it?" "Stop hiding behind the girl cowardly, and speak up."

Actress Han Sohee (29) has released a statement once again clarifying her relationship with Ryu Junyeol (37). Amidst his continued silence, netizens are criticizing Ryu Jun-yeol as well.

On the 29th, after Han Sohee posted a long explanation on Instagram denying the 'Transit Love' suspicion netizens flooded Ryu Junyeol's comment section in his most recent Instagram post.

The post, uploaded two weeks ago, featured a photo of Ryu Junyeol visiting the Liam Museum for the 'VOICES' exhibition. In response to this post, where Han S-hee also liked it, netizens left comments urging him to speak up.

Netizens expressed dissatisfaction with Ryu Junyeol's silence, saying, "Stop hiding behind the girl and explain yourself," "Only girls are explaining, what are you doing?" "Not manly," "Aren't you sorry to Han Sohee?" "Protect your girlfriend," and more, criticizing his silence.

Previously, during the controversy over the dating rumors, while former lover Hyeri and current lover Han Sohee threw shades on each other and apologized to each other, Ryu Junyeol remained silent. He, who has been active as a Greenpeace ambassador, promoting climate crisis response through the 'Polar Bear Campaign,' also became a target of criticism for 'greenwashing' (faking an environmentally friendly image). Along with this, his silence led to sarcastic remarks like, "Are you a polar bear without a mouth?"

On this day, Han Sohee directly asked Hyeri on Instagram, "What's so interesting?" and practically triggered a second round of 'Interesting' showdown. Despite her efforts to clarify, Han Sohee, who is being bombarded with various criticisms, and Hyeri, who is being attacked by her ex-boyfriend of 8 years' new lover, Ryu Junyeol remain silent.

In a statement posted on Instagram and later deleted, Han So-hee expressed regret over Ryu Junyeol's silence, saying, "I'm frustrated because one of the parties is silent. This causes me to worry that people might write speculative articles saying that I'm lying and actually involved in a 'Transit Love'." However, there are opinions that support Ryu Jun-yeol's silence, saying, "If he speaks up, won't he be criticized anyway?" "He's not saying anything because he knows he'll be criticized." Concerns mixed with voices supporting silence are also emerging for Han Sohee, who constantly explains herself.

In her statement on this day, Han Sohee emphasized, "(Ryu Jun-yeol and Hyeri) did break up exactly last year," and "I'm writing this sentence to clarify that it's not for the purpose of revealing personal dating stories and it's not 'Transit Love'." She then added, "I can't tell you more specifically about the part in Hyeri's apology letter that said they agreed to meet again last November because I'm not involved in that. However, they didn't meet to make up for their relationship."

theqoo

-But now that I think about it, Ryu Junyeol's response seems appropriate... Anyway, it wasn't a crime, and there was no need to dig into personal matters or fight over trivial things... Both Hyeri and Ryu Junyeol probably won't take any further action... It's... getting hard to watch... Sohee, please stop...

-Ryu Junyeol's response seems fine; it's just that Hyeri and Han So-hee went too far.

-Is Ryu Junyeol a criminal? Why are people so mad?

-What are you guys are saying? If Ryu Junyeol had handled things properly, this situation wouldn't have arisen in the first place.

-I agree that Ryu Junyeol doesn't need to respond to the public, but he should've at least responded it personally. Judging from what Sohee wrote, it seems like he's not doing anything about this.

-Why does "mouthless polar bear" sound so funny to meㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-Honestly, I don't think Ryu Junyeol owes us any explanation.

-Initially, it wasn't Han Sohee's business to comment on; it was Ryu Junyeol who needed to clarify. Whether they broke up or not, that's between Ryu Junyeol and Hyeri. They dated for seven years.  Hyeri stated her position from her perspective... If there's anything wrong, Ryu Junyeol should speak up. He shouldn't remain silent and Han Sohee is wrong to pass on (presumed) information she heard from Ryu Junyeol to others, it's not a valid explanation.

-What right does the public have to ask about this?

-Ryu Junyeol's silence is the wisest course of action from his perspective. It's not a crime, whatever he does will invite criticism, so there's no reason to fuel the fire.

-Why do celebrities always remain silent or give vague answers whenever something happens? Han So-hee has gone completely off the rails, there must be something seriously wrong.

-It's a personal matter and both Hyeri and Ryu Junyeol have already stated their positions, so now Han So-hee is causing a fuss all by herself.

NH Nonghyup Bank and Chum Churum Terminates Their Advertising Contract with Han Sohee Amidst Controversies

Han Sohee's dating news with actor Ryu Junyeol has led to the termination of her advertising contract with Lotte Chilsung.

According to Lotte Chilsung on the 20th, Han So-hee's 'Chum Churum' advertising model contract expired in early March. Lotte Chilsung stated, "We did not renew the contract after the one-year term expired," and added, "The next advertising model is undecided."

Han So-hee has been active as the model for 'Chum Churum' since March 2023. At that time, Lotte Chilsung explained the background of selecting her as a model, stating, "We considered Han So-hee's active communication with fans through Instagram."

In addition, NH Nonghyup Bank has also terminated its contract with Han So-hee. According to the industry on this day, NH Nonghyup Bank terminated its advertising model contract with Han So-hee and is known to be actively recruiting a new star model for upcoming promotional shoots. Han Sohee was appointed as a model for NH Nonghyup Bank in 2021, and has been active for three years until earlier this month.

Furthermore, the used car sales platform Hey Dealer has also closed the YouTube advertisement comments section. This is speculated to be due to criticism comments related to the recent controversies.

theqoo

-All of this just because she's dating the wrong guy...

-It's not Han Sohee's fault... Those brands are probably changing their models because it's time...

-I didn't even know she was the model of Chum Churum before reading this article...

-Isn't it because their contracts with Han Sohee already expired...? Why are you making it sound like they terminated their contracts because of the dating news...?

-They terminated their contracts not because Han Sohee did wrong. They just don't want to get involved with celebrities during controversies like this.

-It's because her contracts with those brands are expired...

-Her contracts have expired... This article makes it sound like those brands are firing her...

-In the end, celebrities are just products...

-Well, if I were those brands, I wouldn't want to renew my contract with her too anyway...

-Looks like this reporter really have nothing else to write about...

-She's still rich regardless...

-This article is so maliciously written...

-Honestly, she doesn't suit the bank image... I'm sure she's going to sign another advertising contract anyway.

The Current Situation of Hyeri, Han Sohee, and Ryu Junyeol Reminds me of DAY6's Congratulations Lyrics

-I finally understand these lyrics now; the lyrics are so sad ㅠㅠㅠ

-Was this their debut song??? I remember watching the MV so many times because I like Woosik so much

-But the song is really good, it's a classic.

-Wow, I didn't realize how sad the lyrics areㅜㅜㅜ

-I'm really shocked after reading the lyrics.

-This song is really a hit, but this is the first time I've seen the lyrics in detailㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-This is almost like modern literature...

-I also thought of this song as I followed the news...

-Wow, I liked this song but this is the first time I've seen the lyrics... such a sad lyrics..

-Wow, it's so relatable to the current situation.

-The lyrics are too sadㅜ

-Now I understand the lyrics and the music video.....

From Han Sohee's Perspective, Ryu Junyeol Had Already Broken Up in June 2023

'...His previous relationship ended in early 2023'

However, from Hyeri's perspective, she and Ryu Junyeol was going to talk things through in November 2023
'The decision to end our relationship wasn't made hastily in a short period. In fact, even after the breakup news came out, we agreed that we should have further discussions to talk things through'

????

-If I were Hyeri, throwing shades on Instagram wouldn't be the only thing I do. Hyeri is really kind.

-Girls, run away now...

-I sincerely hope Hyeri would gain some strength. I can't imagine how sad she is to end her 8-year relationship like this.

-I wonder who told Han Sohee that Ryu Junyeol and Hyeri broke up in early 2023...

-I'm sure Han Sohee actually heard that from Ryu Junyeolㅎㅎㅎㅎ

-It seems like Han Sohee thought they had completely broken up, judging by how unfair she felt. It's really unfortunate.

-I understand that Han Sohee must've felt unfair, but the least she could do was not to attack Hyeri through her Instagram story...

-Ryu's image is going downhill...

-Ryu Junyeol doesn't even have the courage to make things clear to Hyeri?? I mean, he's way older than her, though?

-This means that both Hyeri and Han Sohee are victims...

-I personally think Han Sohee did nothing wrong...

-Hyeri was right... This is really interesting

-I personally think Han Sohee heard that from Ryu Junyeol, it's just that she's trying to shield him by saying that she read it from some articles.

-I think Han Sohee was wrong to accept Ryu Junyeol without knowing the actual situation that was going on between him and Hyeri at that time, but she already apologized so I don't think we should blame her anymore. Ryu Junyeol is so rude, what the hell is this?

-Ryu Junyeol is seriously the worst. I freaking hate him.

-Protect Sohee at all costsㅠㅠ

-Ryu Junyeol is such a coward.

Now, Hyeri, Ryu Junyeol, and Han Sohee's timelines are fully sorted out

On the morning of the 15th, Hyeri was following Ryu Junyeol.
On the same day in the afternoon, Hyeri unfollowed Ryu Junyeol.

November 2023: Hyeri and Ryu Junyeol Breakup News

While the news article was released, it's not completely over between the two of them. They agreed to take some time off, but there has been no contact since.

March 2024: Ryu Junyeol and Han Sohee Dating News

Hyeri learned the news through the article. The timing she unfollowed Ryu Junyeol and posted the Instagram story also coincidentally aligned with this.

theqoo

-After being together for 8 years, they agreed to have further conversations but it turned out to be the last time they ever contacted each other...? Did their relationship end because they were not contacting each other for so long? He didn't want to be the bad guy here, huh? If he was going to date someone else, he should've ended his previous relationship cleanly. It's funny how he ghosted her and go date someone else and now the girls are the ones who get hate for no reason.

-That's a very impolite way to end a long-term relationship.

-Han Sohee stepped on a shit. I can totally understand how Hyeri feels. And Ryu Junyeol's way to handle this matter is very regrettable. He should've made it clear that to his ex if he wanted to end the relationship.

-Why is Ryu Junyeol getting all the hate now?? I seriously don't understand...

-Hyeri and us learned the news for the first time through the articlesㅠㅠ

-It upsets me to think about how shocked Hyeri must've been when she first heard about the news to the point that she felt the need to post that Instagram story. Not to mention that they had been dating for 8 years at that time. I completely understand her.

-Ryu deserves something worse than just hate comments...

-I can understand both Hyeri and Han Sohee's perspectivesㅠㅠ Please, just stop leaving hate comments...

-That means Ryu Junyeol stayed quiet because he didn't have anything to sayㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-Ryu is such a coward. He told Hyeri to have further conversations but ended up ghosting her.

-I feel really bad for Hyeri...

-He should've at least made things clear to Hyeri before starting a new relationship

-I feel sorry for the girls that they have to go through all of this...

-I freaking hate Ryu Junyeol. Why are people defending him?

-Ryu is such a coward. He should've clearly told Hyeri what he wanted so that she can settle her feelingsㅋㅋㅋ They had been dating for so long, so they should respect each other...

Han Sohee Sets Her Instagram Account to Private

theqoo

-Han Sohee, have some strength. I'm rooting for youㅠㅠㅠ Just sue them all!!

-People are crazy. They're obsessed with dragging others down just because their own lives are boring. I hope they will all be sued.

-This whole attention must be burdensome for Han Sohee right now. I feel sorry for her. She should sue them all, at least the ones on her recent Instagram post.

-I know she's not going to read this, but I will always be on her side. I hope she'll gain some strength.

-I really don't understand why people are so invested in someone else's love life. Why are they acting like this?

-It's really heartbreaking. It's sad how no one believes her no matter how hard she tries to explain. Instead, all she gets is just hate comments. I hope her company pays more attention to her mental well-being.

-Why are people so cruel?

-Just imagine how pissed off and upset she must be...

-It might be more beneficial for her to not use social media for now...

-I don't know if she's gonna read this or not but... Stay strong, Unnieㅜㅜ Please know that there are still a lot of people who root for you.

-This can't be helped because she's a celebrity. I think she should set her account to private until it all quiets down.

-Leave her alone...

-I don't understand how it ended up this chaotic...

"What Article Did She See?" Han Sohee Deletes Comment Saying, "I Assumed Ryu Junyeol's Breakup Timing Based on an Article Posted in June June"

The breakup timing I mentioned was based on an article last June. If it's rude, I'll delete it. It was meant as evidence that I didn't steal him from her, but I guess it was also impolite.

Earlier, Han Sohee wrote in her blog post, "They broke up in early 2023, and the news came out in November. Based on this fact, I confirmed my feelings and continued the relationship." The controversy arose over Han Sohee mentioning the timing of Ryu Junyeol and Hyeri's breakup which she claimed to have read on an article from June last year, as there were no reports of their breakup during that time. The only related articles from June last year were about Hyeri saying, "There are days when I don't receive a single message," which was later linked to her relationship with Ryu Junyeol.

It's speculated that Han Sohee inferred the timing of Ryu Junyeol and Hyeri's breakup from a scene in a variety show back in June last year. In  response to the growing controversy, Han Sohee deleted the comment in question.

Netizens commented, "There was no breakup news in June last year," "I thought Ryu Junyeol personally told her if she said they broke up in early last year," "If it wasn't a breakup in early 2023, Hyeri must have been unfairly treated," and more. However, some defended Han Sohee, saying, "Let's not jump to conclusions," "She might have been confused," and so on.

theqoo

-I mean... He's your boyfriend. If it bothers you that much, why don't you just go and ask him personally instead of making assumptions and responding to netizens' comments without even having a conversation with your boyfriend first? I really don't understand. Instead of posting a picture with a knife, she should've just talked with her boyfriend to sort things out first.

-Please, just stop, guys. You might kill someone with your words. This is their privacy that wasn't meant for public consumption. How far do you have to pry before you feel satisfied?

-Seriously, though. I'm not a fan of any of them, I don't even like any of them. But I sincerely hope Hyeri's company would quickly issue a statement about taking legal measures. I think her ex-boyfriend and his agency have already done this. I wonder why Hyeri's company is not doing anything? At this point, it's better if she changes her company.

-I couldn't care less about their love life. I just find her annoying for getting so emotional because of a guy.

-I can totally understand why she responds that way. It's because she feels wronged. But if she was going to mention someone else's private life like that, she should've carefully researched it first.

-Ryu Junyeol and Hyeri's breakup news came out in November last year, and Ryu Junyeol and Han Sohee started dating at the beginning of this year. So, she didn't steal Ryu Junyeol from Hyeri.

-I don't understand what Hyeri did wrong...

-So, he broke up with Hyeri in November last year and started dating Han Sohee at the beginning of this year...

-She should've just let her company handle this matter...

-I don't understand why this became so chaotic. If only Hyeri hadn't posted that and unfollowed Ryu Junyeol on Instagram, there wouldn't have been talk of Han Sohee stealing him from her. This could've just quietly passed. It's regrettable that Han Sohee responded too emotionally, but if she hadn't responded, she would've continued receiving hate comments. And I don't know what Ryu Junyeol did wrong here. Hyeri posted on Instagram and Han Sohee responded to it, but it's not like Ryu Junyeol told her to.

Han Sohee Deleted All of Her Blog Posts

I don't know if she just turned her blog private or really deleted all of her blog posts.
I think it's very regrettable since it's the space she uses to communicate with her fans.

-She did the right thing

-It's impossible for her to be unaffected by the comments she received there. It seems like closing her blog might be the right move.

-She did the right thing. People will only leave more hate comments if she responses to their commentsㅠㅠ She must've gone through a lot. I hope she sues them all.

-She seems to be the busiest one in this whole situation...

-I think making her blog private might be the best move. People are visiting her blog just to attack her anyway.

-She seems to have a weaker mind than she looks...ㅠㅠ Let her live, you guys

-I feel bad for herㅠㅠ What on earth did she do wrong? Is it a sin to date someone who previously was in a long-term relationship? People are being so mean to her. I hope she sues them all.

-Celebrities are human too~~ She could've just ignored the hate comments, but she chose to read them all. What did you expect her to do? Just stay quiet?ㅠㅠ Even though her blog was flooded with negative comments, there were more people who actually rooting for her. But still, I think it's better for her to not read the comments on online communities. And please... Take legal action!

-I'm not a fan, but this is very upsettingㅠㅠ

-Have some strengthㅠㅠ And make sure to take legal action against those haters who go to the place where she communicates with her fans only to leave malicious comments.

-She made a good choice. She shouldn't act like she's still in her influencer days. She has over 17M followers on Instagram, it's better for her to communicate with her fans only through official channels. Her agency should manage that. I was so surprised to see that she hid some comments on her blogs. I wonder how much trashy comments she must've received to do that.

-She was the only celebrity who communicates with fans through blogㅠㅠ Karma will definitely come back to Hyeri like a boomerang.

-I really feel bad for herㅠㅠ I'm rooting for Han Sohee

Does Hyeri, Who Stirred Controversy with Her Remarks about Ryu Junyeol and Han Sohee, Find This Amusing?

On the 15th, Ryu Jun-yeol and Han So-hee were engulfed in dating rumors, claiming they were enjoying a trip together in Hawaii with friends. A Japanese influencer posted about two top Korean actors being on a trip to Hawaii. While both agencies acknowledged the actors' trip to Hawaii, they cautiously stated it was 'personal life.'

The news turned into controversy after Hyeri posted a photo with the caption 'Interesting' on her Instagram account. Though the subject and object were omitted, it was enough to make viewers believe the targets were Ryu Jun-yeol and Han So-hee. Public perception of Ryu Jun-yeol and Han So-hee's dating rumors drastically changed. This was because Ryu Jun-yeol and Hyeri did not disclose specific reasons and timing of their breakup, both actors avoided an official response regarding the dating rumors, and Hyeri unfollowed Ryu Jun-yeol on social media. Hyeri's short but impactful comment attracted even more attention. Additionally, regarding Hyeri's statement, her agency avoided providing additional explanations about her intentions or reasons.

Eventually, Han So-hee also expressed her feelings on social media. She posted a picture of a dog standing with a knife stuck in the ground, with the caption 'Explain this situation right now.' Additionally, she stated, 'I don't like someone who has a lover, nor do I give room under the name of a friend, nor do I show interest, nor do I interfere with other's relationships. I like watching 'Transit Love', but it will never take place in my life. I find it fun as well.'

Despite the criticism, Han So-hee continued with her explanation, posting a lengthy heartfelt message on her blog the next day. She admitted to her relationship with Ryu Jun-yeol while clarifying that Hyeri and Ryu Jun-yeol's breakup was in early last year, and they became a couple at the beginning of this year. Subsequently, on the same day, Ryu Jun-yeol's agency officially acknowledged his relationship with Han So-hee and outlined plans to address baseless and indiscriminate hate comments.

No explanation seems to suffice. It all started with Hyeri's casual remark of 'interesting.' Even if it was just a light comment that wasn't aimed at Ryu Jun-yeol and Han So-hee, if it was indeed an expression of discomfort about her ex-boyfriend's new relationship, it leaves a feeling of discomfort rather than satisfaction. Even though it wasn't an official confirmation of the dating rumors, her single word sparked controversy, and both her agency and Hyeri chose silence rather than explanations or justifications. Of course, since there were no subjects or objects, they might not have felt responsible.

theqoo

-Oh Gosh... Please just stop.

-If the whole situation was the other way around; Hyeri got herself a new boyfriend and Ryu posted a picture with the caption that says 'It's interesting', I'm sure Ryu will receive critics as if he was a criminalㅋㅋㅋ For your information, I don't like Ryu, but I feel sorry for him this time.

-The ones at fault here are the people who jump to conclusions just from reading two words: 'It's interesting'.

-Why are you doing this to Hyeri, damn it...

-That's so stupid. What did Hyeri do?ㅋㅋㅋ The ones who make assumptions are netizens and reporters, why should Hyeri be blamed for what's going on right now? That's just so stupidㅋㅋㅋ What if the thing she finds 'interesting' is her trip?ㅋㅋ

-Whatever... Ryu Junyeol is the one at fault here.

-Well, it's true that Hyeri threw bait to netizens...

-I hope Hyeri will take legal action as well~~

-What did Hyeri do wrong?? Netizens are the ones who make assumptions as they wish...

-Han Sohee is the most pitiful one here...

-Why should Hyeri clarify the whole situation?? Netizens are so freaking nosy... They could've just minded their own business. Just think about it, who turned the whole thing into a big deal?? Was it Hyeri or netizens?

-At this point, shouldn't Hyeri release a clarification as well??

-It would've been so much better if Hyeri clarified what she meant in that post...

-Han Sohee is the most pitiful one here. All she did was start a new relationship.

-I mean... That's indeed very cheap of Hyeri, but the haters are the ones at fault here...

-I seriously don't understand why people are hating on Han Sohee...

The Reason Why Han Sohee's Comment is Puzzling

Secondly, at the time when we exchanged feelings, it was already the beginning of 2024. His previous relationship with her ended in early 2023, with breakup articles surfacing in November. Based on this fact, I confirmed my feelings and continued the relationship.

Why are you disclosing someone else's breakup timing? Is it okay to reveal someone else's privacy like this just to claim your own innocence? It's quite rude...

Sohee: The breakup timing was not based on private information, but based on an article from last June. If it's considered rude, I'll delete it. It was meant as evidence that I didn't steal him from her, but I guess it was also impolite.

When she said Ryu Junyeol and Hyeri broke up at the beginning of 2023, I thought she got that information from Ryu Junyeol. But the truth is, she got that information from an article on the internet.

There was no such article in the first place, and until this incident, it was known and disclosed that Ryu Junyeol and Hyeri broke up in November.

When this incident broke out, there were rumors about their breakup in August, but both of their companies denied it. In fact, the rumor in August was revealed due to this incident.

To summarize, the news of Ryu Junyeol and Hyeri's breakup first surfaced in November.

The article Han Sohee claimed was posted in June last year, claiming that Ryu Junyeol and Hyeri broke up in early 2023, is nonexistent.

-It would be so much better if she just stayed quiet.....

-Anyways... The two of them met for the first time in November. That proves that she didn't steal him from Hyeri. What's so important about that article in June?

-Just stop guys. I'm sure they all can resolve this matter on their own.

-She can just ask her boyfriend about that... No..?

-It's disgusting how some of you find this amusing...

-He's your boyfriend now, isn't he...? Why don't you go and ask him instead of making claims based on the news...?

-Even if Han Sohee did steal Ryu Junyeol from Hyeri, she wouldn't know. The only person who would know is Ryu Junyeol himself.

-I thought she got that information from Ryu Junyeol;; Well, she apologized already so let's not dwell on it. I just hope people would leave Han Sohee alone, sigh...

-I think Han Sohee is the one who finds this whole situation the most frustrating;; She would be viewed negatively if she didn't speak up and since she's a celebrity, she can't just say 'F*ck you';;

-I think Hyeri needs to speak up to sort all of this... I hope she will reveal her perspective too soon.

-Please stop getting too immersed in other people's love life... What's wrong with you all...

-Honestly, at this point I'm really concerned about her mental well-being. Please don't cross the lines. People can be really cruel sometimes.

-I think it's better for her to stop responding to each comments in her blog...

-Sohee-ya, stop...ㅠㅠ

Seems Like Han Sohee is Currently Replying to Comments on Her Blog

After seeing Sohee's Instagram story, I had many thoughts. People label her 'Transit Love'. From Sohee's perspective, it must feel so unfair. However, I think the way she handles the whole situation was wrong. It's not that I don't understand how she feels, I do. But if she handles it that way, people will only curse her, saying things like, 'Look at her attacking her senior,' 'Was she that kind of person?', etc. I hope Sohee will become a more mature person through this experience.

Sohee: That's right. I also think my attitude was reckless this time. I acted impulsively because I felt like all my actions were being portrayed negatively with various keywords.

Why are you revealing someone else's breakup timing? Is it okay to disclose someone else's privacy like this so you can claim your innocence? It's quite rude.

Sohee: The breakup timing I mentioned was based on an article last June. If it's rude, I'll delete it. It was meant as evidence that I didn't steal him from her, but I guess it was also impolite.

Do third parties have the right to know the truth? I believe not! Please don't get swept away by public reactions.

Sohee: Rather than getting swept away, my mistake this time is significant. From the Instagram story onwards, it seems like I turned small things into a big deal.

It's sad how this is her first post of the year.

Sohee: I'm sorry.

Her image dropped by 10 notches. Tsk tsk.

Sohee: Although it's disappointing that my image, which has been built by fans and all of you, has been tarnished by this incident, I will humbly accept it.

-It's not easy to acknowledge your mistakes like that. I just hope people would stop.

-Why would people visit her blog just to leave hate comments...

-Oh... I think it's better for her to stop responding to those commentsㅠㅠ She's creating a bigger issue by doing that. I personally think no one is at fault here, though...

-She should've closed her comment section...

-I mean... Please just stay quiet, I beg you.

-How did this turn into this chaos... Sigh...

-Is it a sin to be in a relationship...?

-I personally think it's better for her to continue replying to those comments. Rather than hiding herself, it seems like it's better for her to show her humane side. She acknowledged her wrong-doings, the only thing that matters now is for her to not repeat the same mistake in the future, no? Everyone makes mistakes, whether they're celebrities or not; there's no big mistake or small mistake, they're all the same. It's not like she cheated or stole someone else's boyfriend, though. She was being falsely accused and in the middle of clarifying things, she harmed Hyeri. However, she acknowledged it was wrong. As long as she doesn't repeat the same mistake in the future, it's fine... Right?

-I love you, Sohee... Please only read positive commentsㅠㅠ

-I feel bad for her. I feel like she's acting like that because she's too kind. I just hope people would stop hating on her now...

-What is Ryu Junyeol doing? Honestly, being the person who caused all of this chaos, Ryu Junyeol should've been the one to write that post.

-She's truly a cool person...

-I find myself liking her more and more... She knows the right time to be confident and humble.

-Someone needs to take her phone away from her...

-This is very heartbreakingㅜㅜ I hope she can overcome this
