As Jisoo's older brother becomes embroiled in multiple controversies, Jisoo's side has stepped forward to distance her from the situation.

On the 20th, attorney Eun Hyunho from Kim & Chang, the legal representative for Jisoo's agency BLISSOO, released an official statement addressing the recent controversies surrounding her family.

The attorney stated, "We express deep regret regarding the reckless acts of linking the artist (Jisoo) and BLISSOO to this matter currently spreading through media outlets, online communities, and social media, and damaging their reputation based on false information."

He continued, "The current issues are completely unrelated to the artist and BLISSOO, and much of the information circulating online consists of unverified speculation or clear falsehoods. The artist became independent early as she started her trainee life at a young age and has lived apart from her family for a long time, making it impossible for her to be aware of or involved in that individual's private life," clearly distancing her from the controversy involving her older brother.

He added, "While the artist received limited advice from family members during the early stages of preparing to establish BLISSOO, no family member has ever received a salary or participate in the decision-making. Since then, the company has been operating completely independently without any involvement from family members," clarifying that rumors of her older brother being an executive or CEO of the company are entirely false, and that he has no legal or managerial ties to BLISSOO.

Furthermore, BLISSOO stated that they do not provide any financial or legal support to Jisoo's older brother, has no plans to do so, nor does it have any interaction or involvement with him regarding this matter.

The attorney warned, "Continuously spreading false information or linking the artist's name and image to these unrelated matters constitutes a clear violation of rights and defamation. We will take all possible civil and criminal legal action against those who create or distribute defamatory posts, use the artist's identity in unrelated issues, or create articles and content based on unverified speculation." He also added that there would be no leniency or settlements for malicious or repeat offenders.

Meanwhile, on the 16th, Channel A reported that a family member of a famous girl group member was arrested on charges of sexually harassing a female BJ. Speculation arose that this individual was Jisoo's older brother. The controversy further escalated when a woman identifying herself as his wife claimed on social media that she had suffered domestic violence by him.

Even when people recognized her and said, 'I's Suzy,' she just stayed there and asked for more dried squid. She even accompanied me to the crematorium and the burial site."

She added, "At the burial site, Suzy said, 'Mother, I will take good care of Unnie.'" Hearing this, Shin Dongyup said, "I worked with Suzy as an MC for a long time. Singer Jamie (Park Jimin) spoke about her past public relationship.

On the 19th, Jamie made an appearance on the Youtube channel 'Danny Cho.'

That day, when asked about what memory she wishes could disappear from the internet, Jamie said, "I once had a public relationship."

She continued, "Since I was in my 20s, I wanted to date publicly. I always had to hide my relationships and could only go on dates at home. But after leaving my company and becoming free, and being in my passionate 20s, I decided to go public with my relationship."

In November 2022, Jamie revealed her boyfriend, Goo Minchul, through her channel with the caption 'Let's be happy.' The two showed affection by hugging and sharing kisses. Goo Minchul gained recognition after competing on Channel A/ENA 'Steel Troops 2.'

Jamie confessed, "Nothing is left. It just all burned away. Looking back now, I regret it." Regarding the breakup, she said, "People kept asking if it (the cheating) was true. Talking about it so specifically is something I regret. I should've just said we broke up coolly. I think it was uncool of me to explain it in detail like 'We broke up because of this, I hope you X.'"

At the time, just two months into the public relationship, Jamie posted a message on social media hinting that her boyfriend had cheated. She wrote, "When you find out your boyfriend is a cheater." She followed it with a post in English saying, "Did you have fun with 4-5 other girls?" and then deleted all photos of her with Goo Minchul, sparking controversy.

Jamie emphasized, "If I could go back, I wouldn't go public with my relationship in the first place," adding, "I have no lingering feelings. The moment I saw it, I cut him off," explaining how the breakup happened.

"I was abused every time I asked for a divorce" ... Shocking allegations of a domestic violence by a girl group member's older brother cause a stir

A woman has claimed that she suffered long-term domestic violence at the hands of a man known to be the older brother of a popular girl group member.

The woman, identified as A, recently created a social media account and shared pictures of bruises all over her body. She claimed, "What did I do to deserve being hit? I did everything I was told, yet I was still abused. If I told him that I couldn't live like this anymore, that it's suffocating me, he would go and beat me like crazy, saying, 'Are you saying we should get a divorce then?'"

She also claimed, "He hit me for not saying 'I love you' and made me get on my knees and beg if he was in a bad mood. When I ran away to my parents' house out of fear, he gaslighted me, saying, 'It's your fault for leaving your husband,' and made me return. Recently, he even came to my parents' house, leaving my family trembling in anxiety." Her statements have drawn attention as people question the validity.

A also released hospital records that appear to support her claims. The records reportedly stated, "After being abused by her husband at their pension, she returned home and called 112 while being confined," along with diagnoses of headaches and bruises on her right leg and hand.

She added, "When we first met, I was a bright person, but after registering our marriage, my expression darkened and I barely poke. I even had to wear bandages all over my arms."

However, A emphasized that she only later discovered that her husband was the older brother of a popular girl group member. She said, "I didn't know he was her brother when we met. I only found out after registering our marriage, when our second daughter often told me I looked like 'Auntie OO,' which led me to look it up and found out." She also hinted that she would take legal action alongside other victims who have suffered similar abuse.

Min Heejin partially wins lawsuit against malicious commenters ... 4 people ordered to pay 300,000 KRW each

Former ADOR CEO and currently CEO of OOAK Records Min Heejin has partially won a damages lawsuit filed against malicious commenters.

On the 20th, JoongAng Ilbo reported, "The Seoul Western District Court ruled in two damages lawsuits filed by Min Heejin in February against 11 commenters, 4 of them must each pay 300,000 KRW, while claims against the remaining 7 were dismissed."

Previously, Min Heejin filled a lawsuit seeking damages of 3 million to 4 million KRW per person regarding malicious comments posted between April and May 2024. The comments reportedly included harsh insults such as 'trash' and 'thug.' Among them, statements like, "I knew she had a foul mouth, but I didn't realize her character was such trash," were also recognized as grounds for damages.

The court stated, "Even if the matter is a subject of public interest, expressions that go beyond the scope of opinion and become insulting are not permitted," and recognized the liability for some comments. In particular, the court judged certain comments to be 'expressions intended to degrade, mock, or scorn.

However, the court did not recognize the illegality of some expressions such as 'Wicked b*tch' or 'I don't think she's normal.' The court viewed these as expressions that emphasize personal opinions about the plaintiff's actions and attitude, and therefore did not constitute unlawful acts.

Meanwhile, the hearing date for the damages lawsuit filed by HYBE labels, BELIFT Lab and Source Music, against Min Heejin is scheduled for the 15th of next month.
