While BLACKPINK's Jisoo stated that she has no connections to her older brother, who is currently embroiled in various criminal allegations, attention is being drawn to the fact that his name was clearly listed as the agency's CEO in the credits of her previous works.

On the 20th, the legal representative of Jisoo's one-person agency BLISSOO released a statement, saying, "The current issues are completely unrelated to the artist and BLISSOO, and much of the information circulating online consists of unverified speculation or clear falsehoods."

They added, "The artist became independent early as she started her trainee life at a young age and has lived apart from her family for a long time, making it impossible for her to be aware of or involved in that individual's private life," clearly distancing her from the controversy involving her older brother.

They continued, "While the artist received limited advice from family members during the early stages of preparing to establish BLISSOO, no family member has ever received a salary or participate in the decision-making. Since then, the company has been operating completely independently without any involvement from family members."

Additionally, they clarified that rumors suggesting 'the individual in question and the artist established the agency together' or that 'the individual in question is an executive or CEO of BLISSOO' are entirely false and that the individual in question has no legal or managerial relationship to BLISSOO.

However, contrary to this statements, some netizens have raised questions after noticing that Jisoo's older brother's name was listed as the agency's CEO in the credits of her projects. Not only in the credits of 'Newtopia' released in February, but also in the credits of 'Boyfriend on Demand' released last month, a person with the same name as her older brother was listed as the CEO of BLISSOO Entertainment. Following the controversy, the staff credits for 'Boyfriend on Demand' were reportedly edited to remove all individual staff names and changing it simply to 'BLISSOO Entertainment.'

Netizens are saying that if her brother was never involved in BLISSOO's management, as Jisoo's side had claimed, an explanation is needed as to why his name appeared in the credits. On the other hand, some netizens are defending her, saying, "It could be someone with the same name," and "Since Jisoo has clearly drawn a line, it's too much to link her to a family member's wrongdoing."

Meanwhile, reports claimed that a man identified as the older brother of a girl group member had been accused not only of sexually harassing a female BJ, but also abusing his wife. Following this, speculation later arose that the individual in question was Jisoo's older brother.
