'PEAK TIME' winner, Team 11:00 (VANNER), signed a 3-year contract with KLAP Ent.

On the 4th, KLAP Ent. announced that they had signed a 3-year contract for the production, promotion, and management of VANNER, the winner of JTBC 'Peak Time'. 

Previously, KLAP Ent. launched a global fandom platform, 'Universe', in July 2020. This year, the company changed its name to KLAP Ent.

-What was Vanner's previous company?

-Guys, the contract is just for their management! They are under VT Ent.

-They're not changing company, it's just a contract for their management! Their company is managed by the CEO and the members. If I'm not wrong, the CEO has been doing part-time jobs as well. Anyway, the leader, Taehwan has also been in charge of the company's work (such as managing social media and official fan clubs), that's why his nickname is 'Ten Jobs'!. Anyway, congratulations, Vannerㅠㅠㅠ

Team 11:00 wins the final round of Peak Time

 Vanner becomes the final winner of Peak Time and won the prize money. MASC came in second place.

On the final episode of JTBC 'Peak Time, the top six teams performed the final round live. Team 11:00 (Vanner), 07:00 (MASC), 08:00 (DKB), 24:00 (Moon Jongup, Kim Byungjoo, Heedo, Gon), 13:00 (BAE173), and 20:00 (MONT) competed in the finals. 

The winning team was decided through global fans' votes. The results showed that the first place was Vanner. Vanner received a price of 300 M KRW and gained the opportunity to have a global showcase. 

Second place went to MASC, 3rd place to Team 24:00, 4th place to DKB, 5th place to BAE173, and 6th place to MONT.

'Heart-warming survival show' Peak Time, firm and decisive response regarding the controversy

 On the night of the 12th, JTBC 'Peak Time' announced the top 6 teams that will advance to the final round. Prior to this, they also officially announced that Team 23:00 is leaving the show, just like how they hinted previously. 

The production team rep. has decided that Team 23:00 is leaving the show due to a controversy, following the withdrawal of Kim Hyunjae who was embroiled in a school violence controversy. Variety shows typically respond by completely editing the cast out of the show or briefly mentioning it in the subtitles in cases where a cast decides to leave the show. However, 'Peak Time' drew attention for their approach as they provide an opportunity for the cast to publicly apologize.

From the beginning, 'Peak Time' has been striving to create a stage where value can be proven solely by skills. They also devoted themselves to fairness by providing not only songs but also choreography and stage outfits for the eliminated teams. They have gained the label of a 'heart-warming survival show' in the industry.

However, the show was still firm and decisive in handling the controversy. Despite the unexpected controversy that surfaced online, they made a swift decision, allowing viewers to focus on the performance and skills of the participating teams instead of the provocative issue.

-I feel bad for the members beside him. But I think this is a very good approach for a controversy.

-They apologized on the show?? Did he really have to apologize...? It's not like he committed a crime or anything... I don't think it deserves to be called a 'firm decision' too. It's ridiculous enough that they had to leave the show for that. The show kicked them out because they don't want to be dragged into a controversy. They should've just kicked them out, why did they make them apologize on the show??

-Oh Gosh... I wonder if they really had to apologize like thatㅠㅠ I feel really heart-broken as I saw that scene...

-Hul, for real???? Why, though??? DGNA??? It's not like he committed a crime, right???

-I'm sure the show gave them the opportunity to apologize for the sake of the group too...

-I think they're just being considerate towards that group. I personally think it's a good thing.

-I felt like the show gave the group an opportunity to end things positively...

-I still think this is an exaggerated response, though... It's his private life anyway. I know the show meant good as they gave him the opportunity to apologize publicly, but I felt like they could've solved this in private. They're treating him like a criminal at this point...ㅋㅋㅋ My mom even asked me if he committed a crime when she saw this scene...

-I'm sure both parties have already agreed to do this. It's not like the production team ordered him to apologize publicly on the show out of the blue.

-I think this is for the sake of that group, especially if they still want to continue promoting as idols...

'PEAK TIME' Team 23:00 (DGNA) is leaving the show due to Karam's controversy

 

On the 7th, JTBC 'Peak Time' official reps. stated, "After a careful discussion, Team 23:00 decided to not be participating in the 2nd round. Team 23:00's official statement will be aired in Ep 10"

-I do think that Karam should leave the show, but not the whole team. Why?

-I think they should leave the show. They're only dragging the whole show down with them if they don't. People would refer them as the show that 'the actor that's related to AV actresses' participates in and in the end, Peak Time would get a lot of hate too.

-I feel bad for the team... This is a rare chance for them.

-Hul... What happened?? I had no idea they had controversies...

-I was wondering if they left the show because they got no screen time in the latest episode. Now I can finally watch the show comfortably.

-It's funny how the viewers demanded them to leave because it made them feel uncomfortable to watch the show, but non-viewers don't think they should leave just because of the controversy...

-They could've continued participating in the show, they probably would get less vote and eventually get eliminated in the end. I feel bad for the other members that they had to leave the show.

-I'm a viewer and I have never felt uncomfortable to watch the show because one of them had a controversy, though...

-No wonder why they ranked #1. Not only they sounded good, their performance was also very spectacular. It's the type of performance that I want to watch again.

Survival show that has been getting positive reactions after they aired their first 2 episodes

 

They proved that they can make survival shows without evil-editing. They made me see JTBC in a new light, thinking that 'JTBC knows how to make a survival show'. Especially after seeing the teams they created in the endㅠㅋㅋㅋ

-I don't know what this show is about but after reading the comments here, I want to watch itㅋㅋㅋ

-It's so much sadder than I thought. However, it's a really great show because it features a lot of talented artists. I just wish they named the groups properly, though. I wanted to support them, but the group names are really confusing.

-Finally, something worth to watch after such a long time

-It's very comforting to watch this show after watching Boys Planet, that gives more screen time to the trainees who are bad.

-I randomly watched this show but I ended up watching until the very end. Not to mention that I cried a little in the middleㅜㅜ It's a really great show
