Sojang put an ad to hire part-time workers to harass Jang Wonyoung

Looking for someone to leave comments about Jang Wonyoung's expressions on every Jang Wonyoung video on YouTube.

Short comments get 50 KRW (~0,036 USD), long comments get 100 KRW (~0,072 USD).

Starting today, I’m looking for someone to leave comments about Jang Wonyoung's expressions on every Jang Wonyoung video on YouTube with me. Short comments get 50 KRW (~0,036 USD), long comments get 100 KRW (~0,072 USD). I hope to see many applicants.

Example of a long comment: "Looks like someone doing XXX at the club; why is such a young kid acting like that?; It's really harmful for young kids to see her deliberately make such expressions..."

theqoo

-What did Jang Wonyoung do to deserve this... No matter how much Sojang dislikes her, what's the reason to go this far? I just don’t understand.

-Why go this far...?

-Honestly, you don't have to watch Sojang's videos. Just from the titles, you can already see that she has a huge inferiority complex towards Wonyoung. I feel really bad for Wonyoungㅜㅜㅜ Since she has to deal with someone so mentally unstable like Sojangㅜㅜㅜ

-What kind of people would do such thing just for 50 and 100 KRW...

-Hul... You're telling me that Sojang actually went this far?

-Crazy btch....

-May you all get sued, you trash.

-Why are they so filled with malice?

-Why go this far? I don't get it.

-Why is she acting like that towards someone who's basically around her daughter's age?

-Is she out of her mind? Why is she doing this?

-No wonder there are so many hate comments about her...

Fans are saying that this girl group's agency is doing no promotion despite having their comeback today.jpg

STAYC

I've been a fan of STAYC since their debut. (Their company) used to do a good job on the girls' early debut days, but now I don't even think they're the same company...

It’s actually shocking to see a lack of promotion like this in 2024.

When you search for STAYC, there are no posts about them on any forums, even on places like Theqoo. They’re having a comeback, and teaser images were released, but nothing is posted anywhere. F*ckㅋㅋ

I’m sure that if someone sees this post, they’ll start arguing, saying “I saw a post about STAYC, though?ㅋ"or “I saw a post about them on Theqoo, though?" But has it ever crossed your mind that those posts are probably being posted by only one or two people?

Anyway, why isn’t the agency promoting them? They were definitely working hard in 2023. I admit that they indeed worked hard. They released hit songs like Teddy Bear, Poppy, and Bubble.

But in 2024, it’s like the agency doesn’t even think to announce the girls' comebacks. Only after they started Cheeky Icy Thang and realized things were bad did they rush out some collabs or something. But what’s the point? Promotion should be done before the comeback.

It's like in 2024, they’re hiding STAYC’s comeback and hoping no one notices.

-I can truly feel how serious the lack of promotion is. Even though other issues may have overshadowed them, but still... They messed up badly with Cheeky Ice Thang and they're still being super quiet now.

-Honestly, it’s frustrating. I’m a fan and I had to post the teaser on Theqoo myself since no one else was posting it... Well, as a fan, of course I’ll keep supporting them, but if the agency backed them up, they could go even further. And then looking at online forums just stresses me out…sigh.

-I thought things were going to be smooth for them after they had two back-to-back hits with Bubble. But what is this?... Sure, they had a hiatus. But during their comeback period, the agency should've had large banners, promotions on Internet variety shows, or anything else like that...

-I’m not worried about the song, but the lack of any promotion has me unsure about how it’ll do on the charts.

-Why aren’t the agency promoting them?............

There are posts like this on Theqoo.

I've been following STAYC since their debut and I have to admit that their agency does not promote them at all... Right now is the perfect time for them to get the spotlight, though...

I just wanted to write something hoping at least one more person would know that they’re having a comeback todayㅠㅠ

theqoo

-Huh... I only found out about their comeback from this post... I'll make sure to remember to check it out later.

-Hul... So, they're having a comeback today? I'm someone who listens to all new releases and I didn't even know they're having a comeback today.

-Why do their agency barely promote every time the girls release an album... I always find out from posts that fans posted on online forums.

-Usually, it's fans who post teasers or MVs on online forums. So, they're having a comeback today? I'm looking forward to it.

-I seriously wouldn't have known about their comeback if it wasn't for this post. What is their agency doing?

-Fighting, STAYC!! The girls are all very beautiful, talented, and great performers. I hope they succeed!

-I didn't know about their comeback. I like STAYC and even have their songs in my playlist, but I’m finding out about this comeback from this post. What’s going on?

-Didn't the agency promote their comeback on Twitter? I keep seeing it on my timeline.

-I saw them promoting about this comeback on Twitterㅋㅋ I'll check out the MV later.

-I only found out about their comeback from this post.

-Whoa... I didn't know they were having a comeback. I have a feeling the song's gonna be grat.

-I'll make sure to check out their song. I really like STAYC.

-I keep seeing their teaser ads on Instagram, though?

-I guess it’s harder because they’re a small company...

"Add Zico (to the recipient list) as well" ... HYBE Chairman Bang Sihyuk directly orders the 'Idol Report' to be shared to Zico

Amid the growing backlash over HYBE’s reports which became controversial because it contains highly critical evaluations of other idols' appearances, it was revealed on the 30th that HYBE Chairman Bang Sihyuk had directly instructed senior executives to distribute this document. The dismissal of former head of Weverse Magazine, Kang Myungseok, who was reportedly involved in the creation of the reports, raises possibility regarding Chairman Bang's responsibility in the matter.

According to an email obtained by Hankyoreh dated 6 January 2022, Bang Sihyuk replied to a "Weekly Music Industry Report III" shared by Kang Myungseok, requesting, “Please add Zico to the document distribution list.” The recipients of the email included Kim Jooyoung, who was then Chief Human Resources Officer and now CEO of HYBE subsidiary ADOR.

Rapper Zico, who is also a former member of Block B, was added as a recipient because KOZ Ent., the agency he founded in 2018, was acquired by HYBE in November 2020. Since Zico is now the representative of HYBE's sub-label, he became a part of the report's recipient list. This report is published every week and sent to HYBE's C-level executives and label heads. A source suggested, "Zico wasn’t initially included after the acquisition, perhaps due to concerns about his reaction as an artist himself."

On 28 June 2023, Bang Sihyuk sent an email to Kang Myunseok, saying "Please add ㅇㅇ (to the report's distribution list)", to which Kang Myungseok responded, "Yes, he has been added."

As it is revealed that Bang Sihyuk was directly involved in overseeing the report's contents and managed the recipients, he may face further responsibility. HYBE has already let go of Kang Myungseok from his position on the 29th. HYBE's CEO, Lee Jaesang, publicly apologized, saying "The document was compiled to gather various responses and public opinions on industry trends and issues. While it was shared only with a limited number of leadership members for the purpose of understanding the public opinion of the market and among fans, the content of the document was highly inappropriate. On behalf of the company, I acknowledge the wrongdoing and feel responsible for the report that contained provocative expressions towards K-pop artists, the subjective views and personal judgment of the document's author, and the fact that such content was documented."

HYBE has since stated that they have no additional comments beyond CEO Jaesang Lee’s public apology regarding the emails exchanged between Bang Sihyuk and Kang Myungseok.

-It's so unbelievable how Bang Sihyuk is trying to cut ties after causing all this messㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-I feel like this company is the root of all evil in Kpop.

-Considering this document circulated only among top executives, I figured Zico would be a recipient too.

-ㅋㅋㅋ It's all starting to get revealed now.

-He was an idol before he got into his current position now, though... Wow...

-I'm not even surprised at all...

-The fact that Min Heejin was the only one who raised concerns is both surprising and unsurprising.

-I mean... This guy has a history from even his Cyworld days...

-HYBE is truly a force of evil. Destroy them.

-I wonder if he's still going to try deny it...

-Told y'all that they're all in this together.

-To me, this sounds like they're trying to shift the blame onto Zico, though...

-Bang Sihyuk is so pathetic. What is he doing now? Doing a hamburger mukbang in the US?

[HYBE] We Sincerely Apologize Regarding the Monitoring Document

As the CEO of HYBE, I offer my apologies regarding the recent issues surrounding HYBE’s monitoring document.

I bow my head in apology to the artists, industry colleagues, and fans regarding the monitoring document that was brought up during the National Assembly’s Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee audit on October 24.

The document was compiled to gather various responses and public opinions on industry trends and issues. While it was shared only with a limited number of leadership members for the purpose of understanding the public opinion of the market and among fans, the content of the document was highly inappropriate. On behalf of the company, I acknowledge the wrongdoing and feel responsible for the report that contained provocative expressions towards K-pop artists, the subjective views and personal judgment of the document's author, and the fact that such content was documented. In particular, I am very sorry that the false suspicions of reverse marketing have led to misunderstandings and also harmed innocent artists and individuals.

I offer a formal and respectful apology to the external artists mentioned in the document who may have been hurt or impacted. We are reaching out to each agency individually to extend personal apologies. We are also conveying an official apology with heartfelt sincerity to all HYBE Music Group artists who are unfairly facing criticism due to this issue.

Recognizing the lack of awareness by leadership members who received the document, I have, as CEO, immediately halted the creation of such monitoring documents. I promise to implement guidelines and strengthen internal controls to prevent this from ever happening again.

Once again, I apologize sincerely to the artists and industry colleagues who were affected, to the fans, and to everyone who loves and supports K-pop. As the representative of the company, I pledge to thoroughly correct past mistakes through profound reflection and self-examination and to make every effort to ensure the healthy development of the K-pop industry with the utmost respect for the rights of all K-pop artists and fans.

Thank you,

HYBE CEO, Lee Jaesang

Incident at Seventeen's pre-recording site for their new song raises safety concerns ... HYBE responds to fans' protest: "We will compensate if there's proof"

https://naver.me/xExiGva9

According to the music industry on the 29th, SEVENTEEN held a pre-recording for their new track "Love, Money, Fame" on October 15 at the CJ ENM Studio Center in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, for Mnet's M Countdown. A fan, identified as A, shared a post on social media on the 22nd, titled "Demand for Official Apology for SEVENTEEN’s October 15th Pre-Recording Safety Issues on M Countdown." This post has since been reposted over 1,000 times on X, gathering significant attention.

A claimed, "The narrow studio can barely hold 1,600 people, and yet it was overcrowded with 1,700 fans. Fans in the floor section reportedly felt severe pressure from being pushed on all sides and many fans fainted or fell ill to the point they had to be carried off during the performance." A also added, "In order to enter the venue, fans were required to wear varsity jackets that were provided before entry. Due to the thickness of the varsity jackets, a lot of fans fainted and dehydrated."

A also said, "The victims had to sit or lay down on the asphalt floor because there was no space, even after leaving the venue." Despite staff collecting personal information from affected fans as they left, A emphasized that the agency has not followed up with any further measures.

Through Weverse Customer Center, A said, "We are delivering our dissatisfaction over the unsafe conditions that fans had to face at the pre-recording." However, the response only stated, "We can only provide assistance for matters that occur at the scene. We ask for your understanding." In response, A criticized, "Pledis, HYBE, and CJ ENM are all large and influential companies. However, they are consistently neglecting and disregarding the safety of the fans."

A mentioned to Daily Sports that they filed a report to the Korea Consumer Agency on the 18th and were able to receive a response from the agency that said, "If fans want to receive compensation, they should submit data such as photos or videos evidence of the situation at the time."

Contd

In response, HYBE stated, "The number of attendees and security personnel was determined in accordance with the broadcaster’s guidelines. We already took measures on-site, such as providing access to resting areas and beverages."

Meanwhile, M Countdown officials stated, "No further comment is available at this time."

theqoo

-Look at HYBE's response. These bastardsㅋㅋㅋ They're so unbelievable.

-But it's prohibited to film at the f*cking venue.

-It was a pre-recording, so filming was obviously prohibited. And now they're asking fans to submit photo and video as evidence? Are they out of their mind?

-As expected from cheap HYBEㅋ

-They're asking fans to submit photo and video from a no-filming site? Does that mean we are allowed to film HYBE's idols at pre-recordings now?

-How could there be evidence at a no-filming site? Are they kidding?

-How can fans f*cking submit photo and video as evidenceㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-This is a safety issue. Shouldn't they take this seriously?

-They'd make a big deal for taking out or phones at the pre-recording and now they're asking for evidence? Are they insane?ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-This is ridiculous...

-I bet if fans actually submit a photo or video as evidence, they would get blacklisted right awayㅋㅋㅋ These bastards are out of their minds.

-They didn't allow phones at the pre-recording sites and now they're asking for photos and videos?ㅋㅋ This is very sickening. 'Got evidence? See, you don't have any!!'

-Wouldn't you get blacklisted if you took out a camera at the pre-recording site? And now they're asking for photos and videos?

-They don't even see fans as human...

Seventeen Seungkwan shares a lengthy post ... "He's so brave" vs "This is not the right timing for it"

On the 29th, Seungkwan posted on his social media, saying, “I no longer want to see people getting hurt,” adding, "I've been observing the many things that have happened, thinking that these all somehow will pass, as I work hard with my members as always. However, I now feel that I can no longer hope for things to pass and remain silent, for the sake of my people who are being hurt: my fans, my members, and all my hardworking colleagues."

Seungkwan explained that he found the courage to write this post. He expressed, “Being a celebrity is a choice I made. Receiving a lot of love does come with sacrifices. But I don’t believe it’s a profession where you have to endure pain to the point that you feel like dying just to get by.” He added, “Even so, we have to keep going. I must bear the burden because it’s the path I chose, but today, that reason feels painfully unfair.”

Seungkwan continued, "This must start from myself, but I hope we can all become just a bit warmer to each other. If we can support and love each other and treat each other kindly, perhaps things will get a little better.” He ended his post by saying, “I don’t want to see my colleagues, the staff who are working sincerely for us all, and fans getting hurt. I want to say that I’m sorry, and I love you all.”

After that recent post, a lot of people voiced their support towards Seungkwan, commenting, “It took courage for Seungkwan to speak up,” and “It couldn’t have been easy, but I support him.”

However, there are also some people who have different views. Recently, messages allegedly circulated among Seventeen's fan community, calling for boycotts and demanding the resignation of certain executives. These demands arose in response to HYBE’s issues, including Chairman Bang Sihyuk’s potential attendance at a government audit and HYBE’s ongoing tax investigation. With Seungkwan’s post coming shortly after, some wondered if he was trying to appease fans.

theqoo

-He may get mixed opinions, but it's a good thing that he spoke up. What's the point of the last paragraph, though? Is the reporter saying that Seungkwan only said something because fans are boycotting? Because that's completely wrong.

-Either way, what matters is that he spoke up. Asia Today has been constantly posting weird, criticism-filled articles since the National Assembly audit. Get lost.

-I think it's admirable for idols to speak up like this. It doesn't matter if the writing is good or not.

-Honestly, those who criticize Seungkwan for speaking up must be related to HYBE. Speaking up is not an easy thing to do to begin with.

-I don't get why people think the timing is vague... I'm rooting for him.

-If not now, then when is the right time to speak up? I personally think his post is very well-written.

-I'm rooting for him.

-I think he's very brave for speaking up. I support him.

-Seungkwan is a very good person for speaking up amidst such a difficult situation. No wonder why his fans are so proud of him. He's really cool.

-What do you mean? This is exactly the perfect timing to speak upㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-He gets hate for not speaking up and still gets hate for speaking up. That's bullshit.

-I'm an SM Stan and I think Seungkwan is very cool for doing this.

-At least he's so much braver and more thoughtful than that other guy who posted a baseball picture amid all of this.

WannaOne Mentioned in HYBE Document

ZB1

Teaser

: It hasn't even been a week since the trailer video was released, but it got around 1.28 M views. The narration and the overall video composition and editing are made from things borrowed from various places, and even so, the setting in the scenes don’t connect well. There are other teams coming out in July besides ZB1, so I'm curious how long they can keep fooling themselves.

: Their reality show has a camping concept, the actual broadcast is on Thursdays, but there've already posted a few pre-release videos. And honestly, it's really really boring. WannaOne's reality show also had somehow distant and tense atmosphere among the members, and I think this team is no different at all. In contrast, BOYNEXTDOOR have been practicing together for a longer period. I think it would be better for them to continue showcasing their teamwork while also showing their competitive side.

WannaOne's reality show also had somehow distant and tense atmosphere among the members

?????????

I'm sure they actually haven't watched any episodes of it.

theqoo

-It’s been over 5 years since WannaOne disbanded, and they’re still bringing it up. I wonder how they would be if WannaOne was still active.

-What did they even watch...? Are we even watching the same thing?

-WannaOne's content were famous for being really fun... What a nonsenseㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-I watched WannaOne's content because it was really fun, even though I'm not a fun. Which part of it was tense...?

-All of WannaOne’s variety shows had a good atmosphere and were funny. This is so stupidㅋㅋㅋ

-What are they talking about... WannaOne's reality show was really funㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-WannaOne's still f*cking relevant even until this secondㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-I still watch WannaOne's Mafia game even now. What are they talking about?

-WannaOne is considered legendary in terms of reality shows, though.

-I have never heard anyone used the word 'WannaOne' and 'distant' in one sentence.

-Did they really not watch anything? WannaOne was the real deal in terms of reality showsㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ The way they still get threatened by WannaOne even after all these years ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

The most shocking comment from HYBE's report in my opinion

Baby Monster

Member Reveal

: Korean member Rora and Japanese member Asa have been revealed. It seems likeAsa was cast when she was in elementary school, but her Korean accent and speech patterns are so natural that it has become somewhat of an issue. This means that there isn’t much else drawing attention to her.

: Though they were promoted with the image of 'daughter of a rich family', NewJeans has taken a significant lead in this image, raising the bar for such image over the past year. Overall, the members all have natural images but they lack in terms of striking appearances that would make online communities interested in them.

: They kinda have similar vibes to NMIXX, which is very suspicious. The way they excessively reveal Yang Hyunsuk's opinions on the girls suggest that there may be some business reasons behind it. I wonder if Park Jinyoung or Yang Hyunsuk's perceptions of women's appearances changed once they have daughters. Rather than saying they couldn't find talent for the centers, I'd say the members all share similar vibes in general.

Nonsense about how Yang Hyunsuk and Park Jinyoung's preferences in aesthetics would change if they ever had daughters... My ass.

theqoo

-They must have serious inferiority complex towards Park Jinyoung, judging from the way they talk about JYP's female idols and this...

-What is this...? I can't believe my eyes even after reading it... Are they crazy?

-It's so dumb-founding to hear them talk about NMIXX and Baby Monster like this. The girls are all very beautiful and talented, they must be crazy. The report itself is very disgusting to begin with.

-Their level is so low that I'm at a loss for words.

-How can anyone say something like that? Seriously.

-I can't imagine how rotten their brain is to think that having a daughter will distort (Park Jinyoung and Yang Hyunsuk's) perceptions of women. I have never heard such nonsense in my entire life. They must not see women as human to be able to say something like that.

-They're not human at this point.

-Park Jinyoung and Yang Hyunsuk really need to sue them at this point.

-It's one thing for Park Jinyoung, but this is the first time I actually feel sorry for Yang Hyunsukㅋㅋㅋㅋ HYBE must've gone insane for real.

-They must be completely out of their minds.

-They're way of thinking is just... insane.

-You're telling me that this is what a company report looks like??

-They really need to be sued for writing this...

-This is insane... They really need to be sued.

-Are they really human??

-HYBE-ya, what makes you any different from Sojang?

The part in the newly released HYBE report that made everyone went 'Huh?'

2023-02-01

SVT

Jeonghan

: His appearance at Yves St. Laurent fashion show is a significant turning point. Online communities' response towards Jeonghan has shifted from 'the image of a pretty-looking member' to 'Almost like Asian Timothée Chalamet.' His attitude in the local scene was more natural than expected. It would be good for him to find ways to extend this image in Japan while continuing to strengthen himself in photoshoot area.

: Due to the visible rising interest in Jeonghan, Sojang recently posted a video related to Jeonghan exclusively for paid subscribers. Towards the end of the year, there were people aggressively attacking Seventeen. I think Sojang compiled all those attack from that time and turned it into a video. As I observe on Twitter, Sojang might also have referenced opinions about Jeonghan's characters during games and his real self, portraying him as a spiteful and selfish person. What's creepy is that before posting this video, Sojang conducted a poll asking who the popular member among Seventeen. I saw that poll by chance and wondered what Sojang was plotting, it seems like Sojang was testing the waters regarding the popular member of Seventeen before releasing that Jeonghan-related video.

This is the part about Seventeen's Jeonghan.

Asian's Timothée Chalamet...?

I searched Jeonghan's appearance at YSL's fashion show and I guess it was around this time

theqoo

-They praise their own idols like crazy.

-He’s indeed good-looking... but not to that level...

-What are they talking about?

-Are you one of those Sojang's paid subscribers?ㅋㅋ

-So HYBE is one of Sojang's paid subscribers... What the f*ck...

-I agree that Jeonghan is indeed handsome but... This is so f*cking annoyingㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-Jeonghan is Jeonghan... Timothée is Timothée...

-I'm kinda dumb-founded since they look completely differentㅋㅋ Anyway, he's indeed very handsome...

-That means they've watched the videos that Sojang exclusively posted for paid subscribers

-Why is the wording like that...? For a report that is going to be handed over to Bang Sihyuk...ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-They criticize other idols and only talk good things about their own idols...

-That means HYBE paid Sojang...

-So, Sojang wasn't lying afterallㅋㅋㅋ

-Why are you guys criticizing Jeonghan?;; It's not like this was written by Jeonghan.

The most shocking thing about HYBE's internal documents

1. Min Hyungbae obtained 18,000 pages.

2. From those, he carefully selected only 20 to send to the press.

3. The reporters filtered through those 20 pages to write their articles...

4. But some DC users uploaded the original 20 pages on their forum.

5. Even the initially filtered content is shocking.

6. So, what could be in the remaining 17,980 pages...?

That’s seven boxes, each holding 2,500 pages.

Since an A4 sheet weighs about 5 grams, the total weight would be around 90kg.

>> That's just what they obtained <<

Even if only three to four pages are released each day like now, it would take 12 years to go through it all.

theqoo

-The fact that what we're seeing is the toned-down version is unbelievable, not gonna lie.

-At this point, if everything gets released, Kpop might be finished.

-What kind of organization is this?

-If those 18,000 pages are the obtained ones, it means there are more than thatㅇㅇ

-I hope it all gets released and they go flop.

-Just release everything, they're already f*cked up anywayㅠ

-Does that mean what we've been seeing is the mild version of it...? What the f*ck...

-So, what’s in those other 17,980 pages…? It’s legendary that no one raised an alarm while writing out 18,000 pages of this.

-I bet there must be stuff about my faves as well in those 18,000 pagesㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-They must be out of their minds.

-Calling them cheap and low doesn’t even cut it.

-Out of the 20 filtered pages, they couldn't even publish some content about female idols due to the severity of it...

-This is sending me chills down my spine...

BOYNEXTDOOR promotes their new song during ZEROBASEONE's 1st place speech

After that one member finished his 1st place speech, another member of BOYNEXTDOOR said he had something to say and then proceeded to promote their new song.

The clip starts around 1:10.

The video was broadcast until the 3rd verse, so there was enough time for one more member to deliver a speech.

theqoo

-Isn't the normal thing is for the winner to give longer speech if there's extra time? I've never seen a group promoting their new song during another idol's 1st place speech.

-This was from a month ago...

-Why… do they do that?

-Why are they like this? How do they think like that?

-That's very typical of the group that boasted about their iPhones after breaking free from Galaxy.

-So they're that 'iPhone' group... *nods*

-Every time I see them on Theqoo, they always cause an issueㅋㅋㅋ

-So they're those guys...

-??? Why are they suddenly jumping in there?

-That's very rude.

-Judging from HYBE's leaked reports, they must be the group that's aiming to surpass ZEROBASEONEㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-That's very disrespectful of them. It's not like they're an indie band that doesn't have any other place to promote their song. Why did they do that...

-The way they smiled after promoting their song... I'm not even a fan of ZEROBASEONE, but this makes me feel annoyed.

-?? Why do that during someone else's 1st place speech;;

-That is very ill-mannered and inconsiderate.

-I'm not even a fan of ZEROBASEONE, but this makes me mad. If they did that during my fave's 1st place speech, I'd absolutely hate it

STAYC J apologizes for gaining weight

I just got back from working outㅎㅎ

Honestly, I just watched my fancam and... I'm sorry, I feel like I haven't been taking care of my body well..ㅠ

I'll work on dieting a bit...ㅎ

I'll try to take it slow while eating healthily. Fighting!! Hehe.

She seemed to be surprised after watching her own fancam. She apologized for not taking care of her body.

Most of the comments under her fancams were indeed about her weight. However, 99% of them say that she looks better with some weight on.

I'm not that observant, so I didn't even know she gained weight until I saw this and checked the fancam and comments myself.

Recent pics from the past three months college events, fan meetings, etc.

She's the maknae of the group, born in 2004

theqoo

-Seriously, though... I don't see any extra weight on her. She always looks beautiful.

-She apologized for gaining weight...? I mean, she looks so beautiful and adorable, though...? Which bastard talk nonsense about our J gaining weight?? Bring them here, I'll beat them up.

-........... You're telling me she gained extra weight in those pictures?

-What extra weight? She looks just so f*cking gorgeous.

-Seems like someone must've said something to herㅠㅠ I don't think she needs to lose weight at all.

-I mean... She did gain a bit of extra weight, but she didn't need to apologize for itㅠ

-She looks even prettier now, seriously...

-She looks gorgeous, I'm not lyingㅠㅠ

-I hope she doesn't get too stressed about thisㅠㅠ

-No... In fact, she looks even more charming now...ㅠㅠ

-Who f*cking dared to say that to our little princess?ㅡㅡ She looks gorgeous.

-I mean... She looks so stunning, though? I'm not lying. What weight does she need to lose???

-Do you want me to show you what an extra weight actually looks like??????????? She looks beautifulㅠㅠ

-I actually think she looks even more beautiful lately.....

HYBE judges SM Ent. idol's donation in their reports

HYBE's report included a detailed commentary on the member of group ㅇㅇㅇ, ㅇㅇ. According to the report, "(SM Ent.) seems to have recently adjusted their monitoring system, either by adding new resources or changing their feedback process. SM Ent, who is usually known for their 'IDGAF' approach, seems to have realized that they can't continue to be like that. Recently, ㅇㅇ have been receiving negative responses, but then ㅇㅇ anonymously donated 10 M KRW to an animal welfare group."

The report commented on the donation, "Choosing an animal welfare organization, that's (very obvious that they're aiming) for reactions on Twitter. Sending exactly 10 M KRW also seems deliberate, as donations over that amount require verification, so they can't completely go anonymous. It seems like SM Ent.'s taking a different route and overreacting as they've become an issue on Twitter. This could be a signal that there's a shift in their usual strategy."

Not only that, regarding another member ㅇㅇㅇ's recent appearance on a variety show, the report noted, "The way ㅇㅇㅇ buys a watermelon and makes a fruit punch at home comes across as excessively scripted. The way a staff suddenly brings up ㅇㅇ's animal charity donation in the middle of getting their makeup done is also a very outdated approach." Another member, ㅇㅇ, was also mentioned in the report, "She seemed distracted and glued to the phone, leading to rumors that she was texting her boyfriend during filming."

This is insane

theqoo

-ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ What's wrong with them?

-They're really insecure.

-They're more chronically online than I am. I don't even know which idol did donation on which organizationㅋㅋㅋ They're so freaking obsessed at this point.

-Absolutely digsusting.

-Who wrote that report? Did one person write it all? It sounds like someone's personal rant.

-Whoa... Even a hater wouldn't go this far.

-Why are they criticizing down even to donations? Are they crazy?

-That's very low of them to criticize a donation...

-Why are they so obsessed with this group...

-This is insane... This company seems to full of people with broken egos.

-They're truly the worst.

-They sound like idiots. These are the comments that trolls on online communities would write.

-That is lowkey scary... Why are they so obsessed on that one specific group?

-Whoa... Where are the people who have been defending HYBE all this time?ㅋㅋㅋ How is this normal?

-Whoa... At this point, they're just haters. How can someone be this twisted?

HYBE seems to be controlling and paying a lot of attention to SM Ent. idols' comebacks

Additionally, they stated, "It's important for ㅇㅇㅇ(HYBE) to keep fun and cute issues during ㅇㅇㅇ(SM Ent.)'s comeback week. It would be better to continue to connect and share things with fans even about the little things."

https://naver.me/GMmfRn8O

Looks like they're up to some tricks

theqoo

-With the company acting like this, how can we even see the idols as cute no matter what they do? These stupid bastards make the idols unbearable to look at.

-The Kpop industry is becoming exhausting now that these companies acting out their own inferiority complexes and insecurities.

-When is HYBE going to bankrupt??ㅋㅋ Dumbass company.

-ㅋㅋㅋㅋ It's magical how I can exactly tell who they're talking about here.

-They’re that desperate to compete?ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-This is so embarrassing. What's wrong with them?

-Stay away from my idols, you crazy people.

-They're so f*cking obsessed with SM Ent.

-Please... Stop being this cheap.

-At least try not to get caught 🤮

-Just wait and watch Aespa win all the awards this year.

-This company is legendary. They seem to have a real issue.

-Ah, this makes me sick.

Controversy over Rosé's APT.? Malaysian government criticizes, 'Promoting Western negative influences'

The Malaysian Ministry of Health recently raised concerns on its official social media account, asking, "Have you heard Rosé and Bruno Mars's 'APT.'?"

The Malaysian Ministry of Health pointed out that "the song uses the word 'apartment' as a place of temptation, which normalizes behaviors that conflict with Eastern cultural values."

They further expressed concern, stating, "What’s more worrying is that this song is frequently used in videos in social media, permeating itself into daily life. In particular, there's a possibility that children may unknowingly sing along to such lyrics."

The ministry added, "As parents, educators, and members of society, we must be cautious about accepting Western cultural influences. While there may be various interpretations of this song and support from fans, it's important to analyze the lyrics carefully and judge for yourself."

https://m.entertain.naver.com/article/144/0000997142

+A paragraph from another article

The Malaysian Ministry of Health specifically highlighted lyrics such as "Kissy face, kissy face, sent to your phone but I'm tryna kiss your lips for real," and "Turn this apartment into a club, I'm talkin' drink, dance, smoke, freak, party all night," as problematic.

theqoo

-That's ridiculous.

-What are they even saying?

-Rosé actually got it from Korean drinking game culture, so what does it have to do with Malaysia?

-I guess in that country, apartments must have that kind of connotation... I mean, different countries do have different views of apartments...

-I showed this to a Malaysian friend, and they said it's Indonesia.

-I think they're overinterpreting it, though?ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-Apartments are just living spaces for Koreans… like housesㅋㅋㅋ

-This is nonsense.

-I didn’t know Malaysia was this conservative.

-Let's not be racistㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅋ

-Have they not listened to any Western music until now? Bruno Mars’s other songs are much more explicit than this, though?

-It's just a game...ㅠㅠ

-I can totally understand that. Malaysia barely sells alcohol or has bars anyway.

-Malaysia is an Islamic country after all...

Questioning Lee Hongki the same thing, 'If Choi Minhwan was really involved in prostitution. Can you be responsible for what you said?'

by Reporter Lee Jihyun from Sports Chosun

https://naver.me/F88QjLVg

FT Island's Lee Hongki is under fire for his recent remarks.

On the 26th, Lee Hongki responded to a comment in the official fan community on Weverse, saying, "What if it wasn’t prostitution or a prostitution establishment? Are you willing to take responsibility for what you’re saying right now?"

This was in response to a fan's comment: "The issue here is not fact-checking the exposé, but whether or not someone who's now a father to a son and daughter has been involved in prostitution. Not to mention that there's already more than enough evidence of this. They're even investigating the prostitution charges. What more is there to wait for? Just know that no one wants to cheer for someone who visits the prostitution establishment as often as they eat every day."

The day prior, Lee Hongki had also drawn attention by defending Choi Minhwan, saying, "It was their private life but it turned out like this. He should admit his wrongdoing and apologize. But let’s not believe everything so easily." He added, "I must protect him. I must endure this. That’s who we are. All I can do is move forward while taking the hits."

While fans hope that the allegations made towards Choi Minhwan turn out to be false, they criticize Lee Hongki's remarks were careless, especially given that the audio recordings that have surfaced. Lee Hongki's posts have since been deleted.

Currently, the Seoul Gangnam Police are conducting an investigation into Choi Minhwan for solicitation under the Act on the Punishment of Arrangement of Commercial Sex Acts.

theqoo

-Why is he asking an innocent fan to take responsibility?

-I hope he'll make a wise choice.

-That's trueㅋㅋㅋ Lee Hongki, make sure you take responsibility for what you said as well. You even threatened an innocent fan, take responsibility for that.

-I really want to ask him that question.

-Lee Hongki, bye.

-He still denies it all even after listening to the recording?

-Just stay quiet, geez.

-Why did he talk to a fan like that? That's very thoughtless of him.

-He's the worst for threatening a fan who just expressed her concert.

-Did he really need to talk to a fan like that? It's not like the fan said anything wrong.

-Why hold the fan accountable? What the f*ck?ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-Why is he lashing out at fans?

Female idol who receives amazing response after cutting her hair short recently

TripleS' Sohyun

Sohyun looked so handsome as she passed by, so Yooyeon took some pictures with her.

She already looks handsomely beautiful, like a baby wolf, even with long hair.

Since she's been gaining positive responses for her new hairstyle, I'm posting pictures of her + the reason why she cuts her hair shortㅎㅎㅎㅎ

The reason why I cut my hair short is because the meaning of this album is to break the stereotypes that girls have about their appearance and to show that you can be yourself in any form.

A hairstyle change is the most visible transformation. While I love and prefer long hair, when else would I get to try this hairstyle if not while promoting with TripleS?

I mentioned this in an interview today too.

The keyword for this album is 'boyish', and it also referenced boy groups. However, these terms are just for better understanding.

I want to show that I can be myself in any form, that I can become anything I want.

This is the meaning behind the (hairstyle) change.

There's no reason why only men can do certain concepts or styling.

It doesn't make you a guy just by doing (this concept or styling), vice versa.

My hair grows really fast anyway, so don't worry about that.

Please show love for TripleS’ recent comeback ‘Hit the Floor’ 💕

theqoo

-She really does look handsomely beautiful

-Whoa... She looks so pretty. That hairstyle suits her really well. Now I want to try that hairstyle as wellㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-She really does look handsome.

-Unnie,,,,,,,

-I love this TripleS' concept. It gives off 'girls can do anything' vibes.

-Oh Gosh. She looks so cool❤️❤️

-Whoa... That hairstyle suits her really well.

-Her explanation about why she cut her hair is what completes the whole hairstyle...

-Never thought I’d see a short-haired female idol in 2024.

-I didn’t recognize her for a second, she’s so handsome.

-Sohyun is thoughtful, speaks well, and is cute... I’m really into her these daysㅠ

-She already looked handsome even with long hair...

-So f*cking handsomeㅜㅜ

-I love her mindset. I like girls with short hair♡

-Short hair really brings out her charm.

-This is crazy... I think I just fell in love.

-At this level, she’s just a visual genius; the hair is just an accessory.
