After Yunjin mentioned that she wants to change the idol industry

(NB: These comments do NOT reflect my views and opinions)

After Yunjin mentioned that she wanted to change the idol industry, people have been asking her, 'So, what have you changed?' 'What can you do?' and this becomes a source of worry for her... It's really sad how when a female celebrity says something right, people start expecting them to take on social movements they think are their responsibility.

Yunjin: I said, 'I want to change the idol world. I want to make a change.' Since then, people have been asking me, 'So, what have you actually changed?' 'How will you make a change? By yourself?' At first, I let it slide, but as time goes on, I feel like I need to take more responsibility for those words... And I wonder if I'm doing enough now.

-Your company did change the idol world... but in a bad direction.

-Nice words, but it would be more convincing if she wasn't a HYBE idol.

-She should think about whether she has the capacity or influence to actually change things first.

-I think she would make a big impact if she criticized HYBE from her personal account.

-If she really wants to change the idol industry, she should start by demanding improvements from her own company first...

-She has a very great mindset. Why does she have to be under that company...

-If a celebrity under that company criticizes their company seriously, even just for once, I think people would feel their sincerity and start rooting for them. But until that actually happens, people would only talk about the internal documents, etc... When someone who is protected by the company that ruined the idol industry says that, who will agree with them?

-It's true that the idol industry is not normal, but what exactly does she want to change?

-She's benefiting the most from the company that's destroying the idol industry. What is she so upset about?

-It's hard to take her seriously when she's under HYBE, who is involved in numerous scandals like chart manipulations, reverse viral, and internal documents^^ㅋㅋ I hope she tells HYBE to fix things first!

LE SSERAFIM’s Heo Yunjin got criticized by international fans for recommending a FIFTY FIFTY song

On Weverse, a fan asked her to recommend a song, and Yunjin replied with FIFTY FIFTY's 'Gravity'

A FIFTY FIFTY fan who saw this then posted this on Twitter, and now international fans are questioning why people aren't boycotting FIFTY FIFTY

Right now, that fan has set their account to private, so the other QRTs aren't visible anymore, but tweets with similar content have over a thousand RTs now. I expect that this blew up not only in the QRTs but also on Weverse.

In the end, the comment was deleted.

What makes it worse is that today is Heo Yunjin’s birthday, and LE SSERAFIM's intl fans are angry, asking why she would do this on her birthday and telling others to stop using the boycott excuse to harass idols.

Early in the FIFTY FIFTY controversy, large Kpop accounts with many followers took a stance supporting the three members who left, so the intl fandom still has a boycotting attitude towards the new FIFTY FIFTY lineup. Whenever idols, including Yunjin, show any positive reaction towards the new FIFTY FIFTY, they would tell them to boycott the group and stuffs🤦‍♀️

I don’t support FIFTY FIFTY, but some Kpop fans need to understand that YES, the person you like knows about the boycott, but no one in Korea is actually boycotting. Since Korea supports FIFTY FIFTY, it’s not surprising that Kpop idols would support the new lineup.

Even when reasonable international fans explain that no one in Korea is boycotting FIFTY FIFTY and that the three members lost the preliminary injunction case, some still believe the Korean courts manipulated the outcome. (Surprisingly, this is true..) There seem to be more international fans like this than expectedㅠ

This isn’t just happening to Heo Yunjin, but to other idols as well, and it’s still ongoing... It seems like things are even more chaotic because LE SSERAFIM has a lot of international fans🥲

-They're doing their own activities and they even got into a new company, so why shouldn't people support those three members? Instead of bashing idols who are not even f*cking related to them, supporting them would be more helpful. We will happily listen to FIFTY FIFTY's songs, so take your betrayers and leave.

-International fans believe in manipulated information and keep rooting for those three members who left. It's absurd.

-International fans fascinate me... They don't bash the ones who deserve to be bashed and bash the ones who are not supposed to be bashed.

-Why would you boycott FIFTY FIFTY? You dumbasses.

-They're so dumb. If they love those three members so much, they should take those three with them.

-Why are international fans always like this?ㅋ

-If you want to boycott them, do it yourselves as you wish. International fans fascinate me sometimes.

-What's the issue with those international fans...

-Why do international fans act like they know better than the Korean judicial system?

-They don't bash the idols they should be bashing and instead bash unrelated ones. It's strange.

-What are they even saying... These dumbasses...

-It's ridiculous how they try to teach Koreans about Korean matters... Just shut up if you know nothingㅠㅠ

-International fans are really something else...

-Why are they supporting them? I'm curious.

-International fans really act like a cult.

-Why do international fans always cite the wrong information...?

-Time to listen to Gravity.
