Hwasa revealed that she has lost 5kg on the latest video posted on 'YooInRadio' titled 'After reaching an agreement, we chose 'Good Goodbye''

In the video, Yoo Inna said, "Hwasa's comeback created such a buzz. I saw many articles saying that your body shape changed and that you've lost even more weight." Hwasa replied, "Everyone around me worries every time they see me, but I'm actually very healthy right now. I really want to tell everyone not to worry about me."

Yoo Inna added, "Your complexion looks great, and being next to you, I can feel that your energy feels so healthy. Did you lose a lot of weight?" Hwasa replied, "I think I lost about 5kg. Body fat is what's really bad for your health, isn't it? I think I lost a lot of body fat. I've been working out hard lately, and because I lost a lot of body fat, I look even thinner."

When asked if she wanted to keep her current weight after her promotions end, she said, "First, I'll keep it until November, and then I'll see what kind of body I want next." When asked what food she’s craving most, she answered, "I really want to eat pizza. I don't usually like flour-based food, but I want to fold a pizza in three layers and just gobble it down."

Hwasa also shared her diet, saying, "I ate pumpkin sweet potatoes (호밤고구마) instead of rice, along with eggs and chicken breast. I cooked the eggs with a steamer and ate them like baked eggs.” Hearing this, Yoo Inna commented, "You seem to know how to make anything taste delicious," and Hwasa replied, "You have to be happy when you eat."

On the October 22 broadcast of SBS PowerFM Cultwo Show, Hwasa and Hong Yoonhwa appeared as guests.

Hwasa recently released her new song, 'Good Goodbye,' and has been actively promoting it. The rhythmic ballad, written and composed by Hwasa herself, combined with her soulful voice, is gaining paise for many listeners for its emotional lyrics about wishing happiness to a past lover.

During the show, Hwasa started by introducing 'Good Goodbye' as 'Hwasa-style ballad.'

She continued, "The title means a good goodbye. When I first wrote this song, many people didn't understand it, asking 'Can there be such a thing as a good goodbye?' or 'I've never had one, so I wouldn't know.' But after releasing it, many people told me, 'I haven't had a good goodbye, but I think I understand it now," expressing her pride.

Host Kim Taekyun then asked her, "Have you had a good goodbye? I'm not sure a good goodbye can exist between lovers."

Hwasa replied, "I think it can." Kim Taekyun agreed, saying, "I guess it's possible. Sometimes you can love someone, but feel stressful in a relationship with them. In that case, since they are not meant to be, it might be better to part ways."

Hwasa was previously reported in 2023 to be dating a businessman 12 years older than her for 5 years., though her agency commented at the time, "It is difficult to confirm as it is a matter of her private life."

Earlier this year, Hwasa appeared on Park Narae's Youtube channel along with model Han Hyejin, where she hinted at her breakup by saying, "Aren't all three of us single right now?"

MAMAMOO Hwasa undergoes police investigation regarding her obscene performance controversy

MAMAMOO's Hwasa (Real name: Ahn Hyejin, 28) is revealed to have undergone a police investigation after being reported by the parents' association for her provocative performance at Sungkyunkwan University Festival. The police plan to determine the lewdness of her performance and decide whether to proceed with a prosecution in the near future.

According to reports from Yonhap News on the 10th, Seoul Seongdong Police Station summoned Ahn at the end of last month to question her intentions and background of the performance. 

In May, Ahn performed at Sungkyunkwan University Festival for TVN's Dancing Queens On The Road. During her performance, she licked her fingers and made a gesture toward a specific body part. Although this scene was edited out from the show, it caused controversy on social media immediately after fan-cams of the performance circulated online, with some people debating whether it was overly provocative. 

In June, the Student-Parent Association filed a complaint against Hwasa on charges of obscene performance. The association claimed, "Hwasa's actions were suggestive of perverted sexual relations, enough to cause shame and disgust among the witnessing public."

The police have summoned the complainants and Ahn for questioning one by one and are reviewing whether the controversial performance is subject to criminal prosecution. They also have been collecting relevant information from the company and other sources for legal assessment. 

The offense of obscene performance applies when it occurs in a location where an unspecified number of people can witness it. This offense can result in a punishment of up to one year of imprisonment or a fine of up to 5M KRW, detention, or a penalty.
