Some of ENHYPEN Heeseung's fans file complaints to the National Pension Service ... "Operations temporarily paralyzed"

Controversy has arisen as some international fans of ENHYPEN's ex-member Heeseung flooded the International Pension Support Center of the National Pension Service with protest calls and emails.

On the 18th, the Chairman of the National Pension Service, Kim Sungjoo, wrote on is social media, "Last week, international calls suddenly poured into the National Pension Service's International Pension Support Center, causing operations to be paralyzed. We received about 1,500 emails within just two hours."

He explained, "After looking into what happened, it turns out there were posts spread on social media urging international fans to protest to the National Pension Service, which is a major shareholder of HYBE, regarding the issue of a member leaving the K-pop group ENHYPEN."

He added, "Posts on X included questions like 'Has the National Pension Service been contacted by HYBE in advance?' and 'Are they aware of the market value they have lost caused by this decision?', and encouraging people to 'Protest to the National Pension Service as their major shareholder,' along with screenshots of the International Pension Support Center's contact number."

Chairman Kim Sungjoo explained, "The International Support Center is a department that handles pension support services for foreign workers in Korea and Koreans working abroad. It is a place where staff capable of speaking in various languages like English, Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese provide consultations."

He added, "Due to this incident, people who called for actual pension consultations experienced significant inconvenience. The National Pension Service is a long-term investor that manages and operates the citizens' retirement funds. While we invest in numerous companies in over 80 countries, we do not interfere in the management or personnel matters of individual companies."

He emphasized, "Of course, we also do not get involved in the formation of K-pop groups. Although this was just a 'happening' that spread quickly on social media, it was an opportunity to reconsider what kind of role the National Pension Service actually plays as an institution."

Meanwhile, Heeseun's agency, BELIFT Lab, previously announced on the 10th, "Heeseung will becoming independent from ENHYPEN and the group will continue its activities as a six-member group starting from upcoming official schedules." They added, "It is difficult to explain the entire process in a short message, but this decision was made after long and careful consideration."

El Capitxn enraged by aftermath of ENHYPEN Heeseung's departure ... "You stupid b*tches"

SOURCE: 엘 캐피탄, 엔하이픈 희승 탈퇴 여파에 분노 “멍청한 XX들이” 욕설 [MK★이슈]

As the aftermath of Heeseung's departure from ENHYPEN continues, the backlash has now spread toward music producer El Capitxn (real name Jang Yijeong).

On the 12th, El Capitxn posted a message filled with profanity on his social media, saying, "Stop sending me stuff about Lee Heeseung, you motherf*ckers. He can f*cking do that. If you're real fans, embrace him first before throwing stones. Why do you keep blaming me? You stupid bastards.

Following the sudden outburst, people who are presumed to bee Heeseung's fans protested. In response to a fan's comment saying, "If there were no fans, Lee Heeseung wouldn't even be able to debut. Fans come first," he replied, "If there were no Lee Heeseung, there wouldn't be fans either." As the controversy grew, El Capitxn edited his post once, writing, "I can't tell if these f*ckers never learned how to read or if they just choose not to." Later, he changed it again to ,"Alright, now get lost. Go play on Twitter."

Regarding Heeseung's departure from the group, some fans speculated that El Capitxn, who is known to be close with Heeseung, may have encouraged 'artist disease,' which eventually led to his decision to leave. In fact, El Capitxn is known to have collaborated with Heeseung, including participating in the production of his self-composed track, 'Highway 1009.'

Meanwhile, BELIFT Lab announced on the 10th that Heeseung has concluded his activities with ENHYPEN and that the group would continue promoting as a 6-member group. They stated, "We discussed the direction we should move forward and our next goals. We had in-depth conversations about the future each member envisions and the group's direction. In that process, we confirmed that Heeseung has a clear musical vision he wants to pursue, and we decided to respect that."

Heeseung also shared a handwritten letter saying, "I'm working hard on an album so I can meet you all again as soon as possible. I will always keep the love from ENGENE in my heart as I move forward."

International fans are now trying to call the National Pension Service to ask about Heeseung's withdrawal from the group...

SOURCE: 하다못해 국민연금공단에 희승 탈퇴 물어보려는 해외팬들.....

The reason is because they think the National Pension Service is HYBE's largest investor

(The National Pension Service did invest in HYBE, but they reduced their stake after NewJeans' incident)

They're organizing things and suggesting everyone to call at 9:00 (even though the time has already passed)

They're also grouping up by country and encouraging everyone to make calls

There are people criticizing them like:

-International fans have no right to criticise K-Netz. Their stupidity has gone too far.
-That's a place where elderly people need to call, and you're going to occupy the lines..? Are you crazy?

And besides that

Tweet: "It's not over yet. According to my friend who works there, they're going crazy. They're calculating interest rate swap contracts, evaluating their value, and trying to find a way to resolve this problemㅋㅋㅋㅋ"

Message: "Everyone is in meetings. Heeseung isn't here. The office is a total mess right nowㅋㅋ We're going bankrupt"

They're pretending to be Koreans and spreading strange information, pretending to be HYBE's investors, sharing ways to email other investor companies, sharing information to terrorize other investment firms with phone calls, etc.

Their weirdness is crossing the line.

COMMENTS:

-I'm an idol stan too, but... Why would you go this far for a celebrity?

-This is seriously so stupid. Didn't he leave because he didn't want to be in that group anymore?

-I don't know who he is, but is he really that famous of an idol?

-International fans are absolutely the worst. They're just stupid kids acting out in the weirdest ways possible.

-ㅋㅋㅋㅋ It's so obvious that they're using Google Translate for that, but I guess international fans don't realize that.

-There's literally nothing you will get as an answer by calling them...

-Please tell me this is just a lie...

-I'm starting to understand why he left.

-If anything, they should be throwing a fit to the member who left. Why the hell are they causing a scene at the National Pension Service. Are they stupid or what?

-If those kinds of people are my fans, I'd get fed up and quit too. Well, if that's really the reason why he left, then I can totally sympathize with him.

-I would never have thought of going that farㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ So absurd.

-Heeseung-ah, write another letter please...

-Go live your own life... What the hell are you doing?

-Are they seriously making this big of a fuss over this??? Has there even been a case like this when an idol left their group before..?? This is so weird, I'm speechless.

-They should just ask Heeseung directly... Sigh.

Heeseung, ENHYPEN, BELIFT Lab show a new model of 'win-win'

SOURCE: 희승·엔하이픈·빌리프랩 ‘초유의 상생’ 새 모범 보였다[종합]

Top-tier group ENHYPEN and their agency BELIFT Lab are expected to draw attention by introducing an activity system that is never seen before in the history of Korean idols.

Heseung will transition into a solo artist through his current agency, BELIFT Lab. As a result, ENHYPEN will reorganize from a 7-member group to a 6-member group. This is essentially the first case where a top group chose 'coexistence' instead of 'conflict' or 'feud.'

The 'win-win declaration' by Heeseung, ENHYPEN, and BELIFT Lab, which completely breaks the norms in the industry and fandom, was officially announced on the global fan platform Weverse on the afternoon of the 10th.

Regarding this 'mutually agreed independence' that has never seen in the industry before, BELIFT Lab stated, "We had deep discussions with the members about the direction ENHYPEN should move toward in the future. During this process, we confirmed that Heeseung has a very clear musical vision he wishes to pursue, and we have decided to respect his choice."

The explanation that "Heseung did not want to put his own ambitions first within the team, and the other members were also very considerate of him" has created fresh reactions within the K-pop industry. An insider commented, "It means the entire group acknowledged Heeseung's personal musical vision, and the agency supported that choice 'systematically.' This is a 'symbolic moment' showing that K-pop has reached a more mature stage."

It is extremely rare for an artist to 'become independent and go solo' while still remaining in the same agency. In the past, member changes in groups are usually caused by the departure of that artist from the agency or the end of their contracts.

The method BELIFT Lab chose allows both ENHYPEN and Heeseung to operate simultaneously under the same label. This is expected to become an example for idol management systems in the future. The agency also expressed their hope that 'this decision will be a chance for a new leap forward for both ENHYPEN and Heeseung."

On the same day, Heeseung also shared his own statement and reached out to communicate with fans.

He said, "Thanks to the members whom I've shared countless emotions with and to ENGENE (the fandom), I was able to take steps toward a dream that once seemed unreachable," expressing sincere gratitude and promised to reunite with fans on stage soon through his solo album.

COMMENTS:

-The main vocal suddenly leaves the group and the fan sign gets canceled out of the blue... How is this a good example? Aren't the fans still in shock right now??

-I mean... What the f*ck is happening, Heeseung-ah?

-He could've just debuted solo while still being in the group...

-HYBE's media play is kind of scary.

-I feel bad for the 6 ENHYPEN members. I wonder what they're thinking after reading this article.

-'K-pop has reached a more mature stage'ㅋ HYBE's media play is honestly so disgusting.

-Are you sure they're not tying him down so he doesn't leave for another agency?

-The only thing I can think about is.. 'What the hell are they even talking about...'

-Don't joke around. Are the fans a joke to you?

-Whose idea was this? Oh my goodness... It's like they're mocking the fans at this point. It's like they're just fanning the flames..

-Can't they just stay quiet? Why do they even have to do media play for something like this?

-I think BELIFT Lab is a dumbass. Look at all these media plays.

-Is HYBE a dumbass or what?

-You dumbasses... Do you think media play solves everything, BELIFT?

-He's the main vocal... It's like Jungkook leaving BTS...

Announcement of Heeseung's departure from ENHYPEN

SOURCE: 엔하이픈 희승 탈퇴 공지

Hello, this is BELIFT Lab.

We sincerely thank ENGENE for your unwavering support for ENHYPEN. We are writing to provide an update regarding ENHYPEN's future activities.

We have been carefully considering and discussing the direction ENHYPEN should take in the future and their next goals. We held in-depth conversations regarding each member's aspirations and the team's direction. In this process, we confirmed that Heeseung has a very clear musical vision he wishes to pursue, and we have decided to respect his choice.

Accordingly, Heeseung will depart from ENHYPEN and the group will continue its activities as a 6-member group starting from upcoming official schedules.

While it is difficult to fully explain the entire process in a short message, we want to emphasize that this decision was made after long and careful consideration. We understand that this news may be difficult for fans to accept. Nevertheless, we ask for your understanding that this choice was made for the future of both ENHYPEN and Heeseung.

ENHYPEN will continue to give their best to show ENGENE their unwavering performances and energy. Furthermore, Heeseung will continue as a BELIFT Lab artist and will meet fans through solo albums.

We ask for ENGENE to continue giving unwavering love and warm support to both ENHYPEN and Heeseung as they embark on new challenges.

Thank you.

Summary: He is leaving ENHYPEN but will remain as an artist under BELIFT Lab.

COMMENTS:

-Whoa... I guess this is why they canceled the video call fan sign?

-I think he's the most popular one in the group. I heard he's a great singer.

-He's an amazing singer. This is insane. I've watched his Dingo Live performance so many times.

-If he leaves, who's going to do the singing now?

-He should've stayed for at least another 3 years. The group seems to be doing really well in Japan.

-I wonder why...

-If he's not leaving the company, he could've just debuted solo while staying in the group. Why leave?

-Is he switching to acting??

-Is he going to start a ramyeon business?

-Whoa... Why????? Why????????????????? This is so f*cking shocking.

-So he left the group, but is still with the agency? Is he going to act? Or go solo?

-He's that guy who likes ramyeon. What happened?

-Hul... Is this why the fan sign suddenly got canceled last time? It wasn't because of norovirus after all...

-Why, though? Isn't he the oldest in the group?

-Huh, suddenly? Aren't they the group that suddenly announced their fan sign was canceled the other day?

These guys from Enhypen look so f*cking alike, don't they?

Am I the only one who can't tell them apart? I notice that some fans are also having a hard time differentiating them. When I first saw them, I thought they were the same person. I'm starting to able to tell them apart now, thoughㅋㅋㅋㅋ

[+217][-25]

1. [+114][-1] This tweet is legendary
'Jake is my type'
'F*ck, 3 of the pictures I just posted are Heeseung'

2. [+60][-4] I can tell them apart, probably because I've watched them since ILAND

3. [+48][-17] You seriously can't tell them apart?? Am I the only one who can do it so f*cking easily?? Well, I'm their fan, though...

4. [+45][-13] The one with sharper frame and lips corner is Jake. The other one with short chin and more rounded face is Heeseung.

4. [+18][-1] I like Heeseung's face + physical figure so freaking much...

5. [+18][-1] I'm not a fan, but I can tell them apart easily, maybe because I've watched them since ILAND. Jake looks like a playful golden retriever and Heeseung slightly looks like a Chihuahua, I guess?

6. [+18][-0] Here's a tip to tell them apart
'It's normal to not be able to tell Jake and Heeseung apart. I couldn't differentiate them too, at first. I seriously thought they were the same person. Here's a tip: Jake (the one on the right) looks more like a dog and when he smiles, his mouth looks big just like the Titans in Attack of Titan. He also has a more prominent face. And Heeseung (the one on the right) looks zoned out as if he just lost his country'
