Why do romance dramas get boring once the couple finally gets together?

Why do romance dramas get boring once the couple finally gets together? Seriously, though... Every time I watch a drama, I clutch my chest and go, "You two, just date already!" But once they actually start dating, I'm like, "Hm. Boring," and lose interest. Even if it's not a romance drama, when a conflict isn't resolved, I'm like, "Pleaseㅜㅜ Just let them live happily," but once it's resolved, I'm like, "Hm. I guess life needs hardships after all," and I get bored again. Ugh. What should I watch?

This must be why I’m obsessed with love that can’t be fulfilled.

Ah, that’s totally me. I’m like this even when reading romance fantasy novels.

COMMENTS:

-It's like the story is no longer special and becomes predictable. I'm just not curious anymore.

-That is exactly why I don't watch the endings.

-I'm exactly like that... That's why there aren't many shows I've watched until the end.

-Hul... I actually like it more when they start dating, understand each other better, and feel secure... Oxytocin > Dopamineㅠㅠ

-This must be why I always root for the second male lead thenㅋㅋ

-Once they get together, everything just becomes predictable.

-I guess this is why I can't finish watching rom-coms...

-Once they get together, their individual characters kinda disappear, so it gets boring... They just somehow feel less like individuals and more like in 'their own little world.'

-Not me, though.

-It feels like 'quest completed.' I feel like I've seen everything I needed to see.

-But people go crazy if they don't get together and it's an open ending, right??

-It’s because there’s nothing left to be curious about.

-Please, just don’t date.

-Sometimes this makes me think… Maybe that’s why my life is full of hardshipsㅋㅋ If I were only happy, the Creator watching over me would get bored.

-Right. The talking stage is the most fun. Once they become official, my excitement fades.
