On the 13th, girl group NewJeans issued a formal notice to their agency, ADOR, stating, “If our demands are not met, we will terminate the exclusive contract.”
This 'ADOR situation' began in April with an audit directed at the former CEO of ADOR, Min Heejin, and now increases the possibility of an exclusive contract dispute.

A. In response to HYBE’s decision that “New can be discarded, and a fresh start made,” we ask ADOR, as NewJeans' management company, to take all necessary measures. During a recent National Assembly audit, it was confirmed that a phrase in HYBE's internal Music Industry Reported stated, "We struggled with the 'New-A-Reu' (NewJeans, IVE, LE SSERAFIM) wording for days, but starting fresh without 'New' would be ideal.

NewJeans highlighted their concerns by stating, “HYBE’s decision to ‘discard New’ (referring to NewJeans) and start afresh should prompt ADOR, as our management company, to take all necessary actions.” They added, "During a recent National Assembly audit, it was confirmed that a phrase in HYBE's internal Music Industry Reported stated, "We struggled with the 'New-A-Reu' (NewJeans, IVE, LE SSERAFIM) wording for days, but starting fresh without 'New' would be ideal."
