The K-Drama that will be getting a Japanese remake

 

Japan has also decided to remake the drama Beyond Evil. Beyond Evil tells the story of a man who ends up on the outskirts of society and struggles alongside those left behind to capture a monster. Beyond Evil received praises for its intense thriller at the time of its airing. Not only that, it also named as a well-drama because of Shin Hagyun and Yeo Jingoo's performances. Kim Kwangsoo opened up about T-ARA's bullying scandal on the pre-released clip MBN's 'Let's Go' posted on November 8th.

Kim Kwangsoo shared, "At the time, (the rumors surrounding T-ARA) made me so outrageous and frustrated that I decided to make a major announcement. I’m saying this for the first time on TV. I asked Hwayoung and Hyoyoung to bring their contracts, and I tore them up."

He continued, "I told them, ‘Leave. I’ll let you go with no conditions. Go do your work.’ After that, rumors about bullying began to spread online, and they escalated out of control before we could manage them."

Kim Kwangsoo also revealed, “The parents of T-ARA members came to the company. They wanted a press conference to reveal everything, including the Kakao Talks messages. But I decided not to after thinking about what would happen to the members' lives if I did."

He added, "The victims became perceived as the perpetrators. Even though Hwayoung did wrong, I was concerned about her future since she was still young."

Kim Kwangsoo explained, “I felt the T-ARA members did nothing wrong, which is why I allowed them to continue with their schedules. However, the public questioned me, saying, "How powerful is Kim Kwangsoo? He must be powerful in the entertainment industry that he pushes ahead with the group's activities." However, I believed we had done nothing wrong."

At the time, Kim Kwangsoo reassured the members by saying, “I’m okay with being criticized. If you stop now, you’ll never recover. I’ll bear it all. You just keep moving forward.”

'NewJeans MV' Director Shin Wooseok files defamation lawsuit against ADOR executives

Dolphin Kidnappers' Director Shin Wooseok has begun legal action against ADOR.

According to SPOTV News on the 8th, Director Shin Wooseok filed a complaint with the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul on the 4th, accusing ADOR CEO Kim Jooyoung, who is also HYBE's CHRO (Chief Human Resources Officer), and Deputy CEO Lee Dokyung of defamation in violation of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.

As NewJeans' agency, ADOR, now led by new management after the departure of former CEO Min Heejin, faces internal conflicts with HYBE, Director Shin revealed that ADOR demanded the deletion of NewJeans-related videos and other content.

However, ADOR responded by stating that they only requested the removal of 'ETA' MV Director's Cut due to previous disagreements with the advertiser, and denied having requested the removal of all NewJeans-related videos.

The controversy over the removal of NewJeans-related videos intensified as both sides have different claims. Director Shin expressed his anger as he claimed that ADOR manipulated the media with lies and threatened him with a notice that attached proof of him demanding double the service fees. While ADOR argued that it was Dolphin Kidnappers and Director Shin who breached the contract.

Following this, Director Shin accused ADOR of manipulating the situation while attempting to coerce him privately. He warned, "I will provide recordings, emails, and documents as needed and file a defamation lawsuit against CEO Kim Jooyoung and Deputy CEO Lee Dokyung." Eventually, he chose to pursue legal action to prove the truth.
